Any of the Halo games or either of the Knights of the Old Republic games. All are great games for the Xbox.

How to get the best game exsperents on Xbox 360

The best way to get the most out of your gaming experience on your Xbox 360 would be to go to review websites like Metacritic or IGN and look up what genre of videogames you're interested in playing. If you like Shooters, go to Metacritic and look up all of the top rated shooter games that are out for the Xbox 360, you're bound to find something interesting that you'd have a bunch of fun playing. I hope this answer help! Good luck to you on finding some awesome games! I'd give you suggestions but it really depends on the person, so I'll just let you search around those sites until you find something that sounds like you'd enjoy playing. Have fun! :)

Everytime i put in a game it sounds like its going to work but then it makes this noise and then it says play dvd

I would suggest running a lens cleaner through your Xbox if the games are all in good condition (no scratches or gouges). You can find one just about anywhere. Here's a place to start:

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=xbox+360+lens+cleaner&x=0&y=0

If you do this and your games are in good shape, chances are there is something wrong with your DVD drive and it will need to be fixed. You will need to call 1800myxbox. If you don't care about the warranty, or no longer have one, you can attempt to fix this yourself by buying a new/compatible DVD drive and installing it on your own.

A good place to figure out what you would need to do would be here:

http://www.xbox-scene.com/

It may be easier for you to just pay Microsoft $100 to fix it though.

I hope this helps! If this did help you, please give a thumbs up!

Thank you for choosing FixYa!

Do not want to update

If you don't update Xbox Live System updates, you are not allowed to enter Xbox Live due to security reasons. If you choose not to update on a game, you will not be able to play that game on Xbox Live specificly due to the same reason.

Every time I try to play my xbox 360 console says I need an update to play the game. What is the update and where do I get it?

If you have xbox live and you are connected to the internet your xbox will prompt you to update your game/console. At this point you have to be connected to the internet. At this prompt it should give you the option to download and install the update. Choose this option and it will start automatically and finish in time. DO NOT TURN YOUR XBOX OFF. Once this is done you should be able to play the game and your console/game will be updated.

Xbox live

Hook your xbox up to the internet and follow onscreen instructions. Microsoft will give you one month of free service the first time you sign up and then you can choose payment plans that can be as little as $60 a year. Best Buy has a offer this week that gives you a year for $45 a year.

The default plan is the Silver plan and it will give you access to the basics( Demos, downloads,Zune ETC.) but to play online you need gold. I have a few free cards I can give you that will give you 48 hours online. Let me know if you need them.

When ever i put on a game into my 360 it says play dvd then when i press play it says to play disc please insert it into a 360 console

Hi, i have heard many of such things like this with xbox from different people and the best of advice i give to them is to call 1-800-4MY-XBOX.
Explain to them what is happening and they will find a solution, if you have had your xbox 360 for less than three years, then they will fix it totally free because the warranty is still in effect......

Hope this helps...

Take care

Hi.........i want to buy a console

It really depends on what you're looking for in a console. I own both, and they both have their good sides and bad sides. Without knowing anything about what type of games you like to play, previous consoles you've owned, etc., I would lean more towards recommending the PS3. Why? Simply because based on my own experience and that of tons of others, they're MUCH more reliable. I've had no problems with my PS3 at all, whereas my 360 has been sent in for service once already--and came back with the exact same problem.

That doesn't necessarily mean you shouldn't get a 360, mind. The most important thing you should do is go look at the games that are available and upcoming for both consoles and see which one has a list that sounds more appealing to you. Different games appeal to different people, and it's not much good having even the most awesome console in the world if there's not any games you like for it. The 360 and the PS3 do have a lot of overlap when it comes to available games, but there are some that are exclusive, and if there's exclusive games for one console or the other that you REALLY want, it could be a deciding factor for you.

On a side note, if you're interested in playing multiplayer games online, the PS3 does offer its online service (PlayStation Network) for free. Xbox Live costs I believe $50 or so per year, but most people (including me) consider it to be the superior service in many ways. Also, backwards compatibility can play a part in your decision. If there's a lot of original Xbox games you want to play, or a lot of PS2 games, then that could also help you to decide one way or the other.

Hopefully I helped and didn't just confuse you more. =P

Two XBOX 360 Games won't play on original XBOX Console?

Erm, the clue is in the name guys. ORIGINAL XBOX plays ORIGINAL XBOX games. The XBOX 360 plays games designed for the XBOX 360 plus an array of ORIGINAL games. The original console will NOT play 360 games.
