Some systems like to go in to a "fail safe mode" when you remove them and some are just plain nasty.  Check that it has not disabled your network cards.  Or left services behind (that are probably not running).
Your only choice may be to reinstall.

Blue screen

Dear H.W. Coody,
Try to boot into windows through safe mode.(You will have to repeatedly press DELETE or F8 when your PC is booting up).
  1. This should bring up a list.
  2. Select "Boot into Safe Mode" (or something with "safe mode" in it)
  3. Wait for windows to boot up.
If this doesn't work and you still get the Blue Screen, then your best bet will be to go for a complete fresh install of Windows.
I recommend going this way because not only will it save you time, your PC is in this state because of the rogue apps you had installed (System Progressive Protection and Stopzilla). A clean install will remove any trace of them.

Since you are using a branded PC (e.g. Acer), you should definitely get the help of a technician or a friend with some knowledge in computer hardware. If you decide to hire a technician, don't forget to give him the recovery disks you got when you purchased the PC. (These disks contain genuine software designed for your PC)

After you get your PC back,
  • Download and install a free, trusted antivirus such as Avast or Avira.
  • Defragment your Hard disks regularly (Again, be careful. Use the windows defragmenter or O & O Defrag Pro.)
  • Whenever you download apps, download them from a trusted site such as download.com. Always try to read up some reviews about an app. A simple google search might help.
Follow these steps and you should not encounter any problems for some time.

stopzilla antivirus is a scam, not a real one - you got infected. Try to uninstall it and then run an online scan to see if there is something else in your pc
http://www.bitdefender.ro/scanner/online/free.html
If you can't do the online scan then the pc is beyond repair, you will have to reinstall Windows and lose everything in the process.
Once the scan is complete and the pc is clean download a real antivirus, like

I downloaded Stopzilla and now cannot connect to the internet via Internet Explorer.

If STOPzilla.exe is located in the folder "C:\Program Files" then the security rating is 6% dangerous. File size is 53,248 bytes. The program has a visible window. There is no description of the program. The process can be removed using the control panel Add\Remove programs applet. It is not a Windows core file.

Lost Stopzilla on my computer hoaw do I reinstall. My order reference number is MDV660080122110716YYR7 Reg Key: R2vv2vpQHC7F. Thank you Mary Bailey

Have you looked on your Start>all programs list for stopzilla? Perhaps it is just turned off.

Have you looked in your program files folder for Stopzilla? ( My Computer>C>Program Files>Stopzilla)

If there is not an installation (.exe) file there, then try a search from your search utility just type in stopzilla and click on all files and search. I don't know where you saved the file to originally, so I'm covering a couple of bases here.

If you locate the exe. file then you can just click on it to reinstall.
Please NOTE: Before you do that please go to your control panel (install/uninstall programs) and check the list for stopzilla. If it is there uninstall it, so that you can reinstall.)

Be sure to do a clean install which means to close ALL other running programs including your virus control before reinstalling.

After you reinstall, if you can, then do a restart.

____

If you cannot find the file on your system, then you need to go to www.stopzilla.com and redownload the file. When you install it will ask for your number and you can type it in. Be sure that if you use this method, once again turn off all running proggys until the install is complete.

Good luck to you.
