This is a fairly common problem. The extreme heat causes the heating relay to freeze open. Go online and get a schematic of the range. The thermocoupler (I think that is the name) is in the back and should be shown. If there is a error code go online and list your range model and error code.

Clean mode electric current went off was off 10mentis when it came back on oven didnt

I have a whirlpool double oven too and replaced the control board last year the problem started with a F06 code and would reset when I power cycled for a while until it completely quit. Changing the control board fixed that problem. I just used my self cleaning cycle recently and the oven went completely blank on the control panel. Power cycle didn't do any thing. I checked 2 of the thermal cutoff fuses that are shown on most of the parts listing but the problem was with one that is not shown. The link below will get you to the part I replaced it's the power feed to the control board. Turns out that the worst thing you can do to your oven is use the self clean feature. Oven Thermal Fuse

Replaced control panel and keypad 1 1/2 years ago seen the error codes now I was self cleaning oven everything went off no error codes or anything house breaker ok PLEASE help.

Self clean is hard on controls. I do not recommend self clean. Kills expensive parts. If the temp goes above 300 in the control panel, a control panel fuse will melt, killing the power to the control.

I am having the same problem that many others are. My screen went blank and when the buttons are pushed they just beep. This sounds as if it is some sort of malfunction within the circuit board? I plan to...

It is and you are doing what you should. We know that a lot of these problems are being caused by the heat from a self-cleaning cycle rising up into the circuit board. I get a lot of these problems right after someone self-cleaned their oven, although it can fail completely months after the cleaning cycle damaged the board. So in the future try and use the self-clean cycle very sparingly and set the timer to clean for only two hours if it will allow it. My best advice is to not use the self-cleaning clycle, use aluminum foil in the oven floor, and hand clean the door and walls as you use it. Do not use oven cleaner on this as most of the cleaners will damage the self-cleaning oven liners. Change the aluminum foil when it gets dirty and never self clean with the aluminum foil in the oven. We had a power outage today during the self cleaning process of our double oven.. The Electronic Oven Control panel is dead. No lights of any kind. The circuit breaker is ok. Upper door is locked.

Turn the breaker off for 5 minutes. this will reset the system. If you still have no power then it spiked your control board and it's the board that is fried.

had same problem, had computer checked out by profesisonal. Was ok. But it seems it is the control pad that clean cycle screws up. Try this (thanks to my wife and her experimental prowess). 1. turn oven on to custom broil. 2. push down temp button to 375. 3. press bake button. 4. You should now have up or down temp. We think you have to get past pre heat cycle in order for this to work. But work it does.

Whirlpool GBD307PDS Double oven stopped working.

The beeping sound is a fault code. Problem is it isn't listed. In either the top or bottom oven panel there should be a service sheet. The codes are located on this service sheet.
