Question about Hitachi 46BX01B 46" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

Color Adjustment I can not fiquire out how to adjust the color. I think the problem may lie in the remote control. I'm not sure if it's the correct one or the manufacture's remote for this tv. Maybe I'll try that first. I still want to know what you think just in case I'm wrong.

Color settings for an older panasonic tv trying to adjust the color setting for this older panasonic tv, it seems the dark colors are really dark and there faces are really red. Model# CT-32g19j

This is not a projection set; but a picture tube set or CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) technology. If the set is working correctly you should be able to go into the menu and set the color, brilliance and contrast to get the right color and picture intensity. If the controls don't give you what is correct viewing it may be over age and need an adjustment of the internal chroma circuits - which may cost more than the set is worth since it is quite old. Hope this helsp.

The color adjustment won't work. I click on it and go down on other adjustments but none will open to adjust the colors.

you can buy a universal remote for 1 dollar.. option 1 however if you are using componelt input as in RGB then you have no control over your colors

Try using the MENU button on your remote control to go into the TV picture settings menu. Change the mode to NATURAL, You can also try to manually adjust the color in the COLOR SETTINGS mode.

If that doesn't work, check out the handy troubleshooting chart in TV color problems and see if another solution will work. I hope this helps!

My Hitachi 51f510 projection tv just started to have a problem with the color. It appears that the tint is red/pink and I have no control over it.

For me to help you (I think I know what is wrong and it is fairly simple to correct) I need to ASK you something.

If you turn the color all the way to zero and go to a channel that is in black and white, what color is the screen?

If it is red or redish a simple adjustment will correct this problem.

Is the picture with color down to zero on a black and white channel (old movies) red looking?

Before you rate this information, let me know what you find. I am in California and will be available for a while.
