Video delayed

Live streams are used to broadcast live video over the Internet. Whether the stream is from a website broadcasting a sports event or an instant messaging client transmitting from a webcam, there are several things you can do if the streaming is delayed or stalled. Numerous factors can affect this stream. Deleting your computer's cookies, using a different media player or turning off running programs can allow you to view these streams without delays.
Click on "tools" in your browser. This is usually located in the upper right corner of your browser. Click on Internet options. This will appear in the drop down box and is usually at the bottom. Under the "General" tab look for "Browsing History." Under this heading you can click "Delete" to have the computer delete all cookies for you automatically however to delete the cookies manually click on the "Settings" tab Click on the "View Files" tab under the "Temporary Internet Files and History Settings" box that pops up. When you do a second box will pop up with a list of cookie containing files. This may take a few seconds to load so be patient while waiting for the cookie files to load. Highlight any cookie file that you would like to delete. You can highlight more than one at a time by holding down the 'Ctrl" button on your keypad Delete the files that are highlighted by clicking on the "delete this item" located to the left in the same box. As soon as you do you will see the selected files disappear. When you are done just "X" off; this completes your task of manually deleting cookies. You might also do a disk clean up click start click on computer to open right click on your hard drive usually C: select properties in the general tab select disk clean up click ok you can view files to be deleted.
Open your Web browser and delete the cookies from the browser. For Firefox, you can do this from the "Tools" button at the top of the browser. For Internet Explorer, access the delete function from the "History" button. Cookies will slow down your browser. Use a different media player to access the live stream from your computer. Your media player may not have the right codecs or plug-ins to access the stream. You might need to reinstall the media player if there has been any damage to the software. Shut down all the programs you aren't using. If you run other programs while you are trying to stream a live video, you could be overloading your system's central processing unit. This can delay the stream. Disable the hardware acceleration. Click "Start," then click "Control Panel" from the menu. Click "Display," then choose "Settings" from the menu. Click the "Advanced" icon, then click "Troubleshoot" from the menu. Click the "Hardware Acceleration" icon. Slide the acceleration slider to the left to turn it off. Add more RAM to your computer. This allows the computer to run faster while using less processing. Refer to your computer's user manual on how to add more RAM to your system.
If you're not sure if a module is right for your system, use the Crucial Memory Advisor tool for a list of guaranteed compatible modules. first you will need to select the manufacturer from a drop down list then select your product line from a drop down list then select the model then click find it will take you directly to compatible ram also you will have an option to scan your system you should always ask for a guarantee on the compatibility before making any purchase and try to buy for working pairs if possible Hope this helps.

A cookie is a string of information that is sent to your computer from each website that you visit. Cookies are harmless. Why would you want to delete them then? The reason you would want to delete cookies from your computer is that they can store information such as user name, IP address, password, email address, shopping cart items and any strings of information that can be related to your identity. Cookies that are on your computer may slow your computer down. Therefore you may want to delete cookies from your browser. Here is a very simple guide on how to delete cookies manually from your computer.

Click on "tools" in your browser. This is usually located in the upper right corner of your browser. Click on Internet options. This will appear in the drop down box and is usually at the bottom. How to auto remember application passwords

Popular Web browsers have features that allow them to remember passwords so you don't have to constantly enter login information on the websites you visit. If your browser does not automatically ask if you would like to save the passwords you type, you can quickly turn the feature on and begin saving your information.

Open Internet Explorer, and click "Tools." Click "Internet Options," and then select the "Content" tab. Click "Settings" under the "AutoComplete" heading. Locate the box that says "User names and passwords on forms" and click the box to check it. If you want Internet Explorer to ask your permission before saving a password you type, check the box next to "Ask me before saving passwords." Click "OK," and then click "OK" again. b> Mozilla Firefox b> Navigate to the login page of the site you want to save a password for, and enter your password. Click "Remember" when Firefox asks you if you want the password to be remembered. Turn the Password Manager on if you are not prompted to save the passwords that you enter. This feature is turned on by default, but if it has been disabled you can enable it. Click "Tools," "Options" and "Security," and then check the box next to "Remember passwords for sites." b> Apple Safari b> Open a browser window, and select "Safari" from the menu bar. Click "Preferences," and then click 'Autofill." Check the box next to "Usernames and passwords." Your passwords should be saved from now on. Hope this helps

Can i upgrade my asus u47a with 2nd gen i7 processor to 16gb ddr3

Each computer contains two important components---a Central Processing Unit (CPU) and memory chips. The CPU and memory chips work together to process computations within your computer. You can't have one without the other. Your computer has a base amount of memory installed, 512 Megabytes or higher, that can be expanded to beyond 1 Gigabyte, in most cases. Before you upgrade your computer's memory, you need to know what type of RAM your computer takes: SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM), Rambus DRAM (RDRAM), DDR (Double Data Rate SDRAM) or other type.

Open your computer's Internet browser by clicking on the program's icon on your computer's "Desktop," this applies to both Windows and Mac platforms. Enter www.crucial.com/systemscanner/index.aspx in the URL box at the top of your browser's screen. The "Crucial System Scanner" tool application website will open. Click on the check box next to the wording "By selecting this box and clicking the download the scanner button, I agree to the Terms and Conditions." Click on "Download the Scanner." The "Opening CrucialScan.exe" dialog box will open. Click "Open" or "Run" to download and set up the program directly. Click "Save" or "Save As" to save the program's setup file on your computer if you don't see the "Open" or "Run" option or you are using dial-up or a slow Internet connection. The program will download and setup on your computer if you selected the "Open" or "Run" option. Navigate to the directory where you want to save the file, if you selected the "Save" or "Save As" option. Select the "Desktop" if you have a hard time locating downloaded files on your system. Double click on the "CrucialScan.exe" icon to open the program, if you selected the "Save" or "Save As" option. Click "Run" when prompted with the "Open File -- Security Warning." The "CrucialScan.exe" program will run and appear in your computer's Internet browser. Scroll to the second section on the "Memory upgrades from Crucial.com -- Determine My Memory Needs" website. The section is labeled "Your XXXXX Specifications." The "XXXXX"s represent your computer's brand and model. Locate the wording "Each memory slot can hold..." Write down the this sentence on a piece of paper---this is the type of RAM your computer accepts. Click "File," "Print," "OK" to print this website, if you have a printer attached to your computer.

Disconnect the camera from the computer, then uninstall the driver software through the control panel by deleting the device. Then, reinstall the camera by first rebooting and verifying that the camera driver software has been removed. Then, reconnect the camera, and reinstall fresh software from the manufacturer or off of the Internet. Then, the problem should be solved.

I have a Sony SNC-RZ30N webcam that I can only view the video from on a very few computers, all of my more up-to-date computers only see a blank screen in the browser view.

1. Go to the Windows Desktop, click on the "Start" button, and then click "Run" or "Start Search" if you are using the Windows Vista operating system.
2. Type the following text into the text box:
1. "devmgmt.msc" Click OK.
2. Select your computer when the Device Manager window opens, and then select "Action" from the options at the top of the window.
3. Choose the "Scan for hardware changes" option from the drop down menu that appears.
4. Insert any USB device such as a mouse or flash drive into the USB port in question. Now simply check the USB device to see whether it is working in order to test the port.

I cannot uninstall ASK.com tool bar.

In your browser

1. Open a new tab or window.
2. Type “about:config” and hit enter, this brings up the all powerful settings of Firefox.
3. Agree to the warning that you could mess things up
4. Find keyword.url, you probably should not change anything else
5. Double click and change keyword.url string to http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&gfns=1&sourceid=navclient&rls=com.googleien-US:official&q=

This goes back to the normal windows search parameters in your address bar. I'm taking it this is your problem, it's the one I had. Also go into program files first and make sure there is no folder in there to do with ask.com, if you find one, delete it. This should work for any browser hijack by unwanted toolbars

I cannot remove the "about:blank" page from my computer.

If the page is about:blank that means you probabaly have no internet home page set. Go to Tools->Internet Options and set a home page, eg: google.com.

If you have to use task manager to close the browser then your computer is locking up. I reccommend you use a different browser or one of a higher version. firefox and internet explorer will do the job, as well as opera and safari.

Take care!

I'm not a blonde- but the damn GE Easycam is making me crazy.

Marueen, GE computer accessories are now sold and supported by Jasco. Their download page has drivers for your webcam; unfortunately they don?t have any Vista certified drivers. Unfortunately lots of hardware manufacturers are not creating new Vista capable drivers for older equipment and I suspect Jasco will follow the trend as well. You can try downloading the latest XP driver from their site and seeing how it works but in the long run you may just be better off getting a more mainstream product with Vista drivers. Jasco download page: http://www.jascoproducts.com/cgi-local/SoftCart.exe/online-store/scstore/pro/computer_software_cams.html?L+scstore+ndrt4702ffcebece Let us know if you have any other questions and please don?t forget to rate this post.
