Plug your power cord back in, then boot your computer again. If your WiFi button was on before, it should automatically switch on after booting your laptop.
I could not find any information as to where the WiFi switch is located on that model, but it should be near the side, front, or near the keyboard. It should be a small switch or button with this symbol:
I have searched the NEC Australian website with no luck at finding the Device Driver for any NEC products.
1. Navigate to the NEC American site : http://www.nec.com 2. Click the Downloads link under the Support & Downloads heading. 3. Click the appropriate link under the heading PCs & Servers list (i.e, Asia Pacific, if you reside in Australia). 4. SelectNotebook from the Product Category list. 5. SelectVersa VX Series from the Model Series list. 6. Select the appropriate VX series, (i.e, VX, VXi, VXi+ or VXi++). 7. Scroll through the list of drivers available for download. Once located, Select it and follow any other on screen instructions to download and install it.
If you can't find what you are looking for then you will need to contact NEC support.
go to microsoft.com and enter your vista model no(i.e)that is the no you mentioned(nec i-select)......you will definitely find the required drivers in that site.[but please enter enter your no correctly...otherwise you will find different drivers...].Try this it will work 100% for you.
some do have switch where it is is always specific to each manufacture, so go to the manufacture web search for your model, and download the pdf version of your laptop model, ] secondly check the device panel to make sure the driver is installed, if not install it, if it is already install, uninstall it and reinstall it, sometimes these small mechanical humans lost their mind and need somebody to give them a fresh start so do that.
