sounds like your power powersupply is dying.
you could check for bad solder joints. but I would not be too hopeful.

How do I make my MZ 770 Riso accept a different ink so I can change its color? Thanks

These newer models use a different ink. Trying to change the color this way will have disastrous results because the machine will use certain settings for, say, blue ... if Blue is not in the tube, though, you will end up painting the inside of your Riso.

E11 on riso gr 1700

When machine displayed E-11 it’s interrupted the operation.
Its means Pressure Control Motor Lock –
If the Pressure centering sensor does not detected on & off within 5 seconds from the start of the machine.

This problem is the engine of pressure, this is located by uncovering the back, more or less in the middle and bottom, there is a small motor that is attached by screw(s). When the machine is turned on its intial position should be detected and if not , the sensor can be bad or the starting position is dirty or broken cable, or motor cables are bad, inspect them, reset the code and turn the machine off and back on.

Riso Rz 220 copies are coming out to light.

1)You can set the dencity of the riso on the controll panel before you do your masters.
2)Always use original ink.
3)If you are a bit technical you can remove the pressure roller and strip all old ink buildup from it.was it with water ann soap.
If you open the drum and take it out completely, the pressure roller is the black roller inside the machine that put directly pressure on the drum. There is only one screw to loosen and then it hooked out,but it can be tricky to hook it back if you not doing it every day.
