Question about Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS Receiver
I have been using my garmin for quite sometime. For some reason it turns off one or two times during my hour walk. It is driving me crazy. It is not a battery is low problem so I just can't figure it out. I walk almost the same route everyday but I don't think it is turning off necessarily in the same exact place. Please help.
The problem is that the connectors inside the garmin are not consistently touching. You need to open the unit and bend the little prongs on the screen side out a bit so that they touch the connectors on the other side of the unit when closed. I did this with my unit and it touch car of this.

1.Open up the unit by carefully inserting a blade and twisting it on the lower left or lower right of the watch along the seam.
2.Bend the connectors (inside the watch) upwards as to increase conductivity between two parts of the watch.
3.Apply silicon along the seam as to glue the two parts back together.

Same issue. The problem was that the cover was loose. Used marine silicon sealant and no problem. What a terrible design
