Sansa e260 display

I recently bought a fm transmitter/charger that was supposed to be compatible with my device. I hooked it up and not only did the transmitter not work it affected the display on my MP3. Now the screen colors are bleached and the icons are blurry and melted looking. The sound still works great, though. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Re: Sansa e260 display

I have the same problem...blurry icons and menus..and TERRIBLE picture quality for videos and photos.
In my case, i drooped it. It was only 2 feet or so onto carpet though.
Resetting the entire player didn't work

Re: Sansa e260 display

Hey miranda, I have 3 of these players in my home and every time there is a problem with them we find that if we HOLD the power button in and keep it in until it shuts off (while the button is still pressed), it seems to reset any problems we have encountered. worth a try

Will the sansa clip play through my car sterio fm station?

The Sansa itself won't, lacking an FM transmitter. You can buy such devices at just about any department store, however. Most of them draw power through the car's cigarette lighter, and some can even power/charge the Sansa. Make sure you get one that isn't exclusively designed for an iPod, as the power connector on the Sansa is not compatible with that on the iPod. The headphone jack is, of course, universal, and that's where the sound comes out.

I cant sync or charge my sansa e260 mp3

If you recently bought this product, then I am really and truly sorry. These e200's are all really unreliable. If your warranty has no yet expired, I suggest calling SanDisk and requesting a new one : / you'll have to send yours in and they'll send you another one free. Such an inconvenience.. I had it happen numerous times...

The chip may be locked - consult the documentation for details. Also, that card is too big for the e260 to read - 2GB or less.
