Returning to a previous typed line

That is a problem with this machine. The platen doesn't have a detent so there are no positive stops. The trick is to note where the typed line lines up with the line on the card holder. With a little practice you will be able to go back to a previous line fairly accurately. Use the idex or code+rev button to make the paper go up and down. Also it's a good idea to check for corrections before hitting the return button.

I can not get the PIP to go away and show a normal picture on the TV.

If you have the original remote, press the swap key (PIP location on remote) to return the original picture format. You may also have a cable line in the back of the TV for a second tuner. Check this, and make sure you have a single line for each RF input, including any RCA slide in/out jacks where they may not belong. I have seen this happen many times. You may have to remove all connections and replace carefully. Thanks for asking and show all hands of support!

I accidentally changed the language on my monitor how do i change it back to original settings

If you need to change the OSD language for the monitor, press Menu (the rest of the buttons will light). Then press Main Menu and select Advanced (it is the second from the bottom) Press Choose and then Select. The line to change the language, go to the second line (from the top), use the Adjust button to scroll through the available languages. Press Back to return to a previous menu; press Menu Off to exit.

If the language change was in the OS of the computer, it will depend on OS. In Windows, the Control Panel is the starting place. Then Clock, Language, and Region. The Region and Language area will have a keyboard language and display language (if multiple languages are installed) tabs in Win7. (The older versions of Windows are similar.)

I hope this helps.

Since internet explorer 7 has been installed on my computer with out my knowledge my tool bar menu can't be found. How do I get it back? No one seems to be able to retrieve it. Att.net Tect Support can...

To temporarily display the Menu bar, press <Alt>. Go to View (use your mouse or the right arrow key). Go down to one line to Toolbars and right at that arrow. Click on Menu and get that option check marked (or hit enter if you have been using the arrows). Return to the menu bar which should now be visible and repeat going to the Toolbars list, enable the Command Bar similar to how you did the previous toolbar. Finally repeat the above steps and go down the list a little father and Lock the Toolbars if that line is unchecked. (This eliminates the dotted line next to each toolbar that lets you remove toolbars on the fly from the left side of the window at each line.)

I hope this helps.

(IE 6,7, and 8 have very similar menu items for this but the exact titles might be different.)

Echo Blower PB-403T will not start. I replaced the air filter, fuel filter and spark plug. The fuel line inside the gas tank had broken off at the top. I reconnected and it still will not start. Previously...

Should be two fuel lines coming from fuel tank grommet. One feeds the carb's primer plate and the other returns from the same. Open the fuel tank and observe while pressing the primer. If you see fuel pumped INTO the tank while pushing the primer and pulled FROM the tank when the primer is released, you're OK. If not, the lines are backward. Filtered line is on SUCTION side of primer bulb. Unfiltered line is on PRESSURE side of primer and is simply a return to the tank.
Next, concerning the coil: Air gap should be .010 inch at the magnet. Echo ignition coils are warrantied for life to the original purchaser, so don't tamper too much with it. Check gap and check fire with a spark tester. If no spark with switch in on position, take it to an AUTHORIZED SERVICING dealer, found here.

Hope this helps,
Dolf-
