We get only three 15 minutes showers every morning before it goes cold!
1) Is this electric or gas water heater????
Look at label on side of tank for type, brand and serial number.

SOURCE: New water heater, shower hot then only warm water in 5 minutes
try this, set the bottom therostat if it is electric , 10 degrees hoter than the top is set , if gas have no ideas
SOURCE: hot water is cutting out after 2 - 3 minutes whilst showering
check the screen on the cold water intake on the cold side,, you might have to flush the system out, and do you have the shower head water restricter in, if not you may be using to much hot water,,, how many other hot water fixtures are running at the same time? try running just the shower,,,if this is a tank water heater the dip tube could be bad that is on the cold side it takes the cold water to the bottom of the tank and forces the hot water out,, if you ar only getting a couple of min of hot water and the dip tube is bad it is not going to the bottom but just at the top and not getting all the hot water you will need a plumber

you will need to change the thermal coupling,, when it is lit look at it and make sure there is no water dripping down on it, but for now it just sounds like the thermocoupling

Most likely problem is the remote control not the main board. A safe temporary fix is to unplug the heater from the 110 volt outlet, remove the two low voltage wires from the remote control and use a small wire nut to connect the two conductors together. Plug the heater back into the 110 outlet and the heater should work just fine. The default water temperature is about 118 degrees at the heater. Replace the remote control ASAP.
