I HAD TO PUT A NEW ETERNET CARD IN MY PC AND NOW I CANT SEEM TO GET THE VOLUME TO TURN UP ON MY SPEAKERS. THE VOLUME IS VERY LOW. IS THERE A DRIVER OR SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED

Go into control Panel system and remove your sound card. completely, Power down your computer fully then power back up. It should find your sound card and load drivers for it and get rid of the IRQ problem. It should sound ok now.

I need drivers for the computer

Getting the drivers would be a bit difficult, because there are too many drivers and one cannot have them all.

I would advice your get another Ethernet card and Sound card that is windows based as this will save you the stress of looking for drivers.

By the way, what operating system did you install, Vista or XP?

Windows vista has the tendency to install your sound and Ethernet controller. If it does not at first, do a windows update and all your divers will automatically be installed.

I wish you the best.

Replacing an ethernet port on my hp pavillion

Your ethernet port is probably integrated into the motherboard of your computer. Have you tried reinstalling the driver for the ethernet?

If the port is truly bad, my suggestion would be to purchase an ethernet card or NIC (Network Interface Card) and have it installed. You can get them for $15 to $25 at any big box computer store.

I can't get online, my computer isn't reconizing it's eternet cord port

the reasons could be that the particular network connection has been disabled..go to my network places and right click on the connection and see if its disabled..another reason is that the ethernet driver is not installed..do check if both the lights at the ethenet port on your comp are flickering...
