What a pissing joke, im having the same problem pack of lg ****. Sorry I have no solution havnt worked out how to fix it, its deleted all my music and im trying to put more on but nope it doesnt recognise the card.
This happened to me and i had to use my pc to get in and format the card (no other devices could successfully format it). So i put the card back in the phone but this time changed the settings from 'primary storage: memory card' to 'primary storage: phone memory'. I'm not sure if this is what solved the problem but everythings been working fine for the past few months.. now i just move stuff to the card as the phone memory fills up

just try to format card from your phone it self if it fails try to format it by puting it into mmc reader and check your phone might have got infected by virus. pls try to clean your phone and even your computer might have got infected by same clean that also
your memory card may not be formatted. read the manual page 14 (english), your phone can format it. Else, try your camera without mem card to isolate the problem. Seems you have two problems, but are they related?
You may want to contact LG, although they probably didn't make the memory card. It sounds like the memory card may have actually zapped itself. They do have the possibility of this happening, I have had quite a bit of flash memory just go bad on me out of the blue. If it doesn't work anywhere (pc / phone, other pc) it is probably just dead and will need to be replaced. So sorry about that =(
From the settings menu, choose phone settings, then Memory Manager.then handset common memory. Chances are, this will nearly all be used up. Move any pictures, video, music etc from the internal memory to the external memory card using the My Stuff application, then move to external memory. This should solve the problem & any new photos will be stored on the external card. When theinternal memory gets full, the Renoir does funny things!!
hi, i had this problem with two renoirs (i got so annoyed with the first one but liked the phone so i bought another!)
I tried everything to clear the common memory but nothing worked, until last night when I accidentally hit reset settings, in browser settings. It took ages and I thought it had frozen, but when it finished I had 69% memory free! I had to re-save my bookmarks but that was no big deal.
I tried it on the old phone and that worked too so might be worth a try....
Check your sent items and outbox folder to see if the you have any multimedia messages stored using up space...
If not then the image you are trying to send could be too large to send and save... Even though you have it set on Memory Card memory, the phone still uses its internal memory for things like the actual sending if you dont have enough space on the handset, it will show the message above
