Hp dv9500 Pavilion/Vista Business locks up download pdf online

When I am downloading a pdf file online from my bank the notebook locks up. I can only restart by holding the start button down for 10+ seconds. There is nothing I can determine from the event viewer.

It only seems to lockup when working online with my bank.

How d i replace spakers

The Speaker wires connect to the Power Button Board, very close to the left Hinge.

http://splusdirect.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=2125

From Service Manual,

Component Replacement Procedures / Speaker Assembly:

"Remove the speaker assembly:
1) Disconnect the speaker assembly (1) from the power button board"

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&lc=en&product=3255934&

Scroll down, click on ->
HP Pavilion dv9500, dv9600, and dv9700 Entertainment PCs - Maintenance and Service Guide

Page 66 - Speaker assembly

[Ignore if you are aware;
This is a PDF file. The computer you are using now has Adobe Reader on it, which uses PDF files.

After you click on the above file name, it may take up to 30 seconds before the first page comes up.
The file is downloading in the background, and will not show until fully downloaded.

There is a way to save this Service Manual to your computer.
This way you can burn it off to a CD disk for safekeeping, and have it at your disposal anytime you wish. (Still say better than a USB thumb drive)

After making sure the copy you made is good, delete it from the computer you downloaded it on, and save Harddrive space.
(The more free space on a Harddrive, the faster the computer)

If you do not know how to, and wish to; post back in a Comment]

Need the manual for hp pavilion notebook dv7-4008ca & downloaded

HP Support > Pavilion dv7-4008ca Notebook PC > Main Support page,

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=4230711

Click on Manuals in the list.

Click on -
HP Pavilion dv7 Entertainment PC - Maintenance and Service Guide
,for a Service Manual.

Click on -
Notebook PC User Guide - Windows 7
,for a User Manual

These are PDF files.
The computer you are using now has Adobe Reader on it, which uses PDF files.
After you click on the manual file name you want, it may take up to 30 seconds before the first page comes up.
(Just wanted you to know while you are staring at a blank screen.
The file is downloading to your computer)

The download is a Temporary download. Once you close the PDF file, you have to go back, and download it again, to see it.

At the top right of the top header is a Floppy Disk icon.
It is the third icon from the left. If you hover your mouse cursor over it, Save a copy, will be briefly revealed.

Click on the Floppy Disk icon.
In the Save File box look to see where the file will download to.
Desktop: Goes to your desktop screen.
Documents: Goes to your Documents folder
Downloads: Goes to your Downloads folder.

You can click on the blue Down Arrow to the right, and in the list click on where you wish the file to download to.
I put them in my Documents folder.
(Actually I am running WinXP right now, so they go to my My Documents folder. Win Vista, and Win 7 it's -> Documents)

In the File name: box below, write down the file name.
Or,
Click in this box, and type what you want.
(Pavilion dv7 User Manual, or Pavilion dv7 Service Manual?)

Now go below, and click on Save File. (OK?)

From there put a new CD-R disk in the optical drive (CD/DVD drive), and then Right-click on the file name. Click on Copy.

The reason I do not just directly copy to disk, from the HP PDF file, is if there is a problem I want to have the file handy. I can start over.

(After checking that the disk has a good copy on it, you can then delete the file from the computer you downloaded it on, and save harddrive space on that computer)

For additional questions please post in a Comment.

Here is the download page for a free Service Manual,

http://www.tim.id.au/blog/tims-laptop-service-manuals/#toc-compaqhp

Go to the 18th line down. The line that starts with HP Pavilion dm1.
Go to the second line and across to tx1000.
Left-click on tx1000.

This is a PDF file. You may not see anything happening for up to 30 seconds after you click.
The file is downloading in the background.
After you see the first page it may take additional time for the file to fully download.
Suggest you let the file download all the way before looking through it.

My Hp pavilion tx2000 cant play audio files, cant connect to net

Hi James

First, Sound drivers:
HP Pavilion tx2000 CTO Notebook Realtek High-Definition Audio Driver 6.0.1.5494 A from HP notebook
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp38001-38500/sp38206.exe

and video drivers..
HP Pavilion tx2000z CTO Notebook NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 Video Driver 7.15.11.5682 A
http://notebook.free-driver-download.com/url.php?id=TlRJeE5Eaz0&link=0

Now network:
HP Pavilion tx2000 CTO Notebook NVIDIA nForce Chipset/Network Driver 5.53 A
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp38001-38500/sp38205.exe

and wireless!
This is an older WIFI driver that only works in XP, and in certain HP Pavilions, but try it.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp36501-37000/sp36684.exe

and this is the Vista one that is correct for your laptop, it probably doesn't work in XP but if all else fails, you could try it. (You should really run Vista on it, I reckon)-----------------
