Keyboard typing something other than the letters it should
Everytime I try to type something in Word, most of the letters do not work. If I hit the f key - it types a g. I can't get the keyboard to type the correct letters. Can you help? I have tried everything. It is a wireless keyboard - Dell. I just had to replace the batteries.

ok, guess your keyboard is not working,
borrow from a friend..... the keyboard of a PC
connect that to your laptop keyboard/mouse port behind/sides of the laptop, now try typing.....
the keyboard connector goes into the port only in a specific angle, align the marker in the port along with the arrow mark in the keyboard connector .....be carefull.... dont force it inside.....else you will kill the keyboard connector pins.....and render the laptop port unusable.....just do it carefully...that's all
I had a keyboard that would only print a 5 in a box everytime I pressed the u button. Most of the other keys were putting strange combinations up too. I found out I had the numlock key at the top (near the top row) and pressed it. Viole' I can read what I am typing (and you can too). Maybe this is your problem?
There are 2 ways to uninstall something. 1 thru Add/Remove Programs, the other thru regedit
Assuming you have XP
Click on Start, Run, then type regedt32
Then click on Edit, then Search, then type in Nero, each entry it finds hit Delete button on your keyboard, then hit F3 button on your keyboard to find the next entry. This might take you a while, but hey it works.
