Question about Intel Dual Port Etherexpress NIC Driver 59698470

I have a Intel processor which i just loaded Windoes XP; for some reason I do not have a ethernet driver anymore. I can not get the internet. In the networking menu it states it is not installed. Where do go i go to get it install. Is there a free site to download on a disk or something. Intel Celeron 1.80 ghz

You need to download the driver from the INtel WEB site. Therefore you need to beg, borrow, or steal a friend's computer or you may be lucky to get it from your friendly computer shop.

XP SP3 doesnt allow driver to get loaded


not a problem in xp sp3 under the device manager in system properties you will have a yellow circle and black exclamation mark and probably say unknown device or ethernet device. right click go to properties and in details tab you will see Device ID.. we can track OEM driver from this.

I received a new XP laptop today! When tried to "search for available wireless networks" I could not because Intel software kept taking over from Windows XP, so I removed/uninstalled my intel wireless...


Hi , Do you have a wireless router ? Did you disable the wireless network , If yes you need to enable . You need to check if the wireless driver is installed properly for that you need to RightClick My Computer+Properties+ Hardware + Device Manager + Click On Network Adaptors . If Yes the n you need to Right Click My Network Places+ Properties and check for Wireless Status + Right Click Enable.

Wireless fails to work after reinstalling XP SP2

The wireless driver might only work on Vista, try the IT Administrators - Intel® PROSet/Wireless WiFi Connection Utility for Windows* XP and Windows Vista*from here

First uninstall the one you have though..

Go to the manufacturer site and search for driver. USB network driver is not compatible with XP, then you have to download latest driver from site. you can try here www.packardbell.com
or original manufacutere of it
