Question about Marantz SR-4300 Receiver
Hi,problem could be due to some voltage fl,or any component failure or may be due to the wrong connection of speakers. First check the speaker wiring,if it is ok then better to consult a professional service person. Set goes to standby means the protection circuit is turned on, normally any component failure or short circuit happens inside the amp, systems will automatically detect it and to protect it from any further damage, turns to standby.

No, I think you have a bias problem in the audio output circuit of this receiver. There is really not a lot a user can do to fix this unless you have the electronic know how and know how to trouble shoot solid state electronics. Good Luck
