Question about RIM BlackBerry Curve 8310 Smartphone

1 Answer

Incoming call does not list between call history

This morning I received a telephone call from someone who is not in my adressbook.
After the call, I wanted to save the number to add to my adressbook. Therefore I push the (green) telephone button which gives me an overview of the persons and numbers I most recently telephoned/received call/ missed call.
But the number did not appear in this list (and I know the caller didn't hide his number).

Hope someone knows what I'm doing wrong, or that someone at blackberry can pickup this problem.

I've never heard of that happening before. Try breaking it down into the category of "recent calls" or whichever it is under, where you only see the people that have called you. From there I believe you hit the right button and click save contact.

Incoming calls

Go to your phone call history and find the phone number you want to block. Press AND continue to hold your finger on that number until there is a "pop-up" with many options. Select the Block Contact option.
(If you don't hold the number down long enough you may dial that number).

Here is my problem I can't get any calls the go derect to my voice mail how can I fix it, I can make call but no recive please help me

I'm sorry to hear you are not receiving your telephone calls. As I understand your quesiton, you say all incoming calls go directly to voice mail.

I do not have experience with your make or model but I want to try to help you solve this trouble.

I have had several cellular phones that offered a feature called "Answering Machine". When set in "Answering Machine" mode, I could not receive incoming calls. All incoming calls went directly to my voice mail. I learned this when I inadvertently set my phone to use this feature. I turned it off and I started to receive phone calls again immediately.

I can't say this will solve your problem, but I hope it leads you to a solution. I know how frustrating it can be when you depend upon your cellular telephone and it doesn't do as you expect.

I hope this is the answer that fixes your situation. You may have to call your service provider for a resolution.

Thank you for posting your question on FixYa.com

Restrict incoming calls for certain numbers and SMS

yes your provider must support this feature. if you are not on contract then it will definately not be available. if you are on contract then give your provider a call and ask them to activate the features you want.

Clearing Blazer Site History Resolved

In Blazer preferences under Advanced there is a checkbox for "Disable Auto Complete". Don't know if this guesses what you want to enter by History or by "logic" (you enter "www.yahoo.." and it guesses that the rest is ".com"). Perhaps this can save you the work.
