Make sure your subscription covers the desired service(s), and that the selected carrier (e.g. GPRS/EDGE) is available in the area. If you still have problems sending or receiving MMS (picture messages) or accessing the mobile Internet/WAP on your phone, you probably need new settings installed. Go to the Phone Set-up service on the site and follow the instructions to receive the settings in an SMS message. You can also contact your operator for the correct settings.

have a check with the message settings > message center number... call to your network operator customer care and note down the message center number & insert in that message settings>message center number ... then try sending and receiving the pic messages ... if the same problem persists then just call your network operator s customer care and complain the same........... there may be some problem in your sim card they will check and tell the status ....
Yes, you will need to send a text to your operator (O2, Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile etc.) to get your MMS and other settings.
You should be able to obtain the number from the operator's website by searching for "Get Settings".
see the thing is that for receiving and sending pictures from ur mobile via messaging option, for that u need to get ur mms service activated and after that get the mms setings from ur service provider. U need to ensure that tthing also that same mms service & setings should be available at othr end also. After that u will be able to send & receive mms from that particular no.
