takeout the cartridge and clean the coper dots..then dnt put them in..power on the printer...while pressing # 6 button disconnect the power cable....while pressing then reconnect the cable...after some settings it will ask for the cartridges...put them in..it will do the need full
Might want to get a new image unit. Did you recently replace the image unit. Did you use a vacuum cleaner to clean toner??? . (DO NOT USE A VACUUM CLEANER TO CLEAN TONER STATIC ELECTRICTY CAN DESTROY THE SENSOR UNDER the Image unit.
Try this site and get new image unit if available you have legacy Minolta machine.
this happens during automatic color calibration, more than likely you need new color developer installed by a technician. turn machine on holding the 0&8 buttons to enter service mode type 4546 and 0 then start and 556 and 0 (start) 557 and 0 (start), then hold interrupt it will beep 5 times and shut down, this will turn off the calibration and allow you to make copies but will not improve quality.
open the front door. pull out drawer 1. remove the yellow cover, 1 screw. take out 2 screws, 1 front, 1 rear. remove old web. install new web,put the full roll on the right side with it feeding from top right to bottom left. if this is not installed correctly it will tear up the new web.

the problem in your machine is on the drum unit there is a arching on the mc unit.located in the upper portion of the drum unit.if you have an old drum unit try to install it again just for testing.and check if ther is a dumping toner again.
that is most proberly a defective cartridge packermary you need to try another cartridge if it works then return the defective cartridge or else try cleaning the head on the cartridge by using alcohol or spirits and wiping the pins on the cartridge head & the coper part of the cartridge.
