I'm looking for stereo headphones for iphone but not Apple production. Which ones are best for it?

It really depends. There are many brands out there that compromise sound quality for its price. On the other hand, there are those brands that do the exact opposite by overpricing their products while having decent sound quality. I'd say that headphones somewhere in the middle of the two are the best as long as you not an audiophile.
I've had good experiences with the Sennheiser CX series. It's not overpriced and has decent sound quality.

When I used these headphones this morning, I noticed that the sound from one of them was far less powerful than the other one. I've tried different songs, to see if it wasn't just the song, but the problem...

had the same problem with the right ear bud and I don't know if it is suggested in the manual, but cleaning the mesh on the ear bud with a cotton stick dipped lightly in alcohol (almost dry) helped with me, the sound is back 100%.

I hope it helpes with your too.

Brand new Sennheiser RS140 headphones stopped working

Mine is a bit older (2yrs), but I have exactly the same problem. Absolutely no sound from the headphones (no beeps). I also tried new batteries, but still nothing.

If you have a solution, let me know!

HD600 no sound in one ear

Go inside and test the speaker with a small low power battery, connect it quickly (just a quick touch) to the terminals of the speaker, it should pop! If it doesn't it's gone.
If the Sennheiser don't have replacements, then it's bin time!

No sound coming through my Sennheiser wireless headphones

Turning the transmitter on and off (Fig. 5)
Turn on the sound source. This automatically activates the
transmitter and the green LED “ON/OFF” lights up. If the sound
source is turned off, the transmitter is automatically deactivated
after approx. 3 minutes (the LED “ON/OFF” goes off).
Note: The automatic level control only functions if the volume of the
sound source is sufficient.
