Question about Packard Bell iMedia SL 9553 (P660401806) PC Desktop
Check that you haven't muted the sound by accident. Look for a speaker icon in the task tray at the bottom of the screen on the right hand side. If it has a red circle with a line going through it, then it is muted. Click on it then click on the little blue speaker to turn off the mute.
If you have not got a speaker icon in the tray then go to control panel, sound and click double click on speakers then click on the blue speaker icon to turn the mute off. (For Vista)
Also make sure that the speaker wires are plugged in correctly on the back of the computer.
