Cannot receive outlook email anymore on my blackberry
Hi, before leaving for vacation to Asia, my company's IT dept set up a link so that I can receive my desktop outlook email from the office onto my blackberry curve phone while I am away. It was working fine for a few days but now I am not able to receive any new mail. What steps should I take to begin receiving email again or what steps should I tell my colleagues back home to take if the problem rests with the desktop ( I believe blackberry desktop manager was set up on my computer). I will not be back for another week and it is important that I reconnect with my outlook account. Thank you
Re: cannot receive outlook email anymore on my blackberry
Do you have a redirector intalled that pushes the email forward to your device? Sometimes the redirector get turned offf, or the desktop gets turned off and I stop getting my emails when I'm away from the office.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

Goto account settings and configure your E-mail account in the computer that you want to use, Now you will start to receive your E-mails. check this Link : http://support.netouch.com/email/OutlookExpressConfiguration.pdf This configuration is meant for POP3 access. Follow the directions from PDF to complete account configuration.
Hello, To setup your Yahoo in MS Outlook 2007, please follow the procedures written below: 1.First of all, you must enable POP3 in your yahoo mail account. If your current yahoo setting for the preferred content is “Yahoo US”, it requires “yahoo mail plus”. But if you change the setting as “Yahoo Asia”, then you can enable POP3 access in your yahoo mail account. To do that: -Sign in to your yahoo mail account. (I assumed that you switched the yahoo mail options to “All-New mail” view from “Mail Classic” view.) -Click on your “Display Name” and select “Account Info”
-Continue signing in yahoo account info verifying your password. -In your yahoo account info page find the “Account Settings” section. In the “Account Settings” section, check the current settings for “Set Language, site, time zone” content. If it is “Yahoo! U.S.”, then click “Set Language, site, time zone” link.
-In the “Edit Member Information” page, click on the New Setting option and change your current preferred content settings to Yahoo! Asia and click “Finished” button.
-Click “I Accept” button on the “Terms of Service” screen to proceed further. -The preferred content will be “Yahoo! Asia”. Click the “Finished” button to save the settings. -In your yahoo mail box page, click on Options and select More Options…
I found Outlook Password Unlocker is helpful, recover forgotten passwords for emails in Microsoft Outlook. Your Outlook password will be displayed in a minute no matter how long and complicated it is. Besides, the compact interface makes it easy to use.
For this, as you have changed your password on the outlook mail you need to change the same password on the blackberry handset as well.
for this you need to follow the following steps. SETUP WIZARD == EMAIL SETUP
There is an option in Outlook with a Checkbox that says "Leave a Copy of Messenges on Server." Under Tools, then Options. That box must be checked, otherwise when mail co Almes into Outlook on your computer, it will never come in on your phone. There is also an option on your phone to have messages deleted from the computer when you delete email messages from the computer and vice-versa. Best recommendation is to pull-up the very-large user-guide on Blackberry.com, look at the table of contents and you'll see what I'm talking about under Email settings, with exact instructions of how to resolve your issue on the Curve.
Open OL 07 -> Tools -> account settings -> Under the "E-mail" tab -> Check how many account you have. You should see 2 e-mail accounts and if both are the same, delete one account which is not set as DEFAULT.
Reason: When you opened OL 07, it checks if there is any e-mail account setup in Outlook Express ( Win XP) or Win Mail ( Win Vista ) and migrate the account settings.
No E-mails in blackberry :
Open OL 07 -> Tools -> account settings -> Under the "E-mail" tab -> Select the e-mailaccount and click on CHANGE -> Go to More Settings -> Advanced -> Enable " Leave a Copy Of messages on the server"
Reason : Outlook must be downloading all the e-mails from your server when it look s for new mails on the server due to which Blackberry does not detect any -mails on the server.
Unless you are trying to sync with another Microsoft Exchange Server (say at your new Job) or you are running an Exchnage server at home on a dedicated server.. you will not be able to set your phone up with exchange.
One Suggestion I may have would be to setup outlook on your phone to connect to your email via Imap4 or POP3.
You might want to remove the activesync partnership to your old company if you havent done so allready to help get rid of the exchnage sync error's.
