Hi I have a 50pf9630a /37 plasma tv and last night the screen went out, it's blinking 5 red blinks, when I turn it on, power supply green lights go on, mother board lights up, I hear 2 relay click

Ok. I got my tv back on.
I pulled off the back cover and found the relay that was clicking.
I have two blue relays next to each other that click when the power is pushed.
I placed a hair dryer over the relays for about a minute.
Once heated up, it only took 4 tries to get the TV to stay on.

it sounds like you could have a signal board problem they are pretty expensive but there is a web site that sells refurbed parts

Check for shorts, blown fuses on ysus, if blown replace entire board, easier than locating many of the parts installed on the board.

Question Television is not working, screen is black, blinking red led.
Answer Television is probably malfunctioning due to electrostatic discharge. Try resetting the television by unplugging it from the power outlet for 10 seconds.

1. Make sure that the power cable on the display and the VGA cable with trailing audio cables are connected correctly (use the originally supplied VGA cable.) between 'MONITOR' of the TV and 'VGA1' of the display.
2. Make sure that the display is switched on.

Service manual says: Error code 14 - audio power amplifier section. The tv switches to protect and blinks one long and four short flashes.
