Question about Dell OptiPlex GX280 PC Desktop
Hi, my computer was working fine, i plugged something into the USB and restarted my computer, i heard a small bang and the electrical fuse board tripped. I flicked the switch back up on the fuse board, tested the plug which worked and my pc will not power back up! I have changed the fuse on the plug connected to the power box and it still wont work! Have the cpu opened up beside me. Any ideas, im not a computer tech!!! Thanks in advance, Darragh
Tough one, but inspect the motherboard for a blown capacitor. You could test the power supply with a simple voltmeter. Not to mention simply seeing anything lit with the case open while powered one. gl
