Question about Canon imageRUNNER C5180 Color Copier
I am on a Mac Pro running Mac OS 10.5.6 which I recently upgraded from 10.4.11. When I try to print to my Canon iR5180 using InDesign CS3 v5.0.4 on 11x17" paper, the first page prints properly and the following page prints to a portrait orientation, clipping off half of the page. The printer driver I'm using is Canon iR C5180-H1 PS Ver 1.0. I did not have this problem before I upgraded the operating system. Other programs don't have this problem, for instance if I make a PDF it prints fine. Another older G5 running the same software and OS has no issues. I am a production artist working on many multi paged documents and can't afford the time to print single pages or make PDFs everytime I need to print. I've tried different drivers and sharing configurations to no avail. I've reinstalled my system software once as well. Any help would be much appreciated.
I found an acceptable workaround. If I leave the paper size set to "defined by driver" in the Print dialog box and chose the paper size in the Page Set Up dialog box, that seems to do it. There were numerous complaints on the web about this and it seems to be a major glitch in CS3 with the Leopard OS.
