I assume you want to get the right size for a Christmas present. Here's a suggestion. Tell him you need to measure him for pant. Have him straddle a broom handle that you hold horizontally. He should stand flat footed and the broom handle should be as high as you can raise it without pushing hard against him. If the end of the handle is touching the wall, make a pencil mark on the wall where it touches the wall. Then measure the distance of that mark from the floor. That measurement should be about the same as the distance from the bike's top-tube (the part of the bike frame between the seat and the handle-bars) and the ground. Essentially, you are measuring to see if the boy can straddle the top-tube of the bike with his feet flat on the ground. If he is growing fast, you might figure he can be a bit on his toes to straddle the top-tube. A realistic max height would be to straddle that tube with one foot flat and the other on his toes. Good luck!

I have kaoplecin for horses. Dosage for foals is 15 mL for every 10 kg and for the mare is 30 mL for every 45 kg. The foal weighs 300 lbs and the mare weighs 1200 lbs. what are the dosages to give

1 kg is 2.2 lbs 300 / 2.2 is 136.07
136 /10 is 13.6 times 15ml = 204 ml

1200 / 2.2 is 544 544 / 45 is 12.08
12.08 times 30 equals 362 mls

Looking for replacement light alloy rims. 26" v2100 genesis mountain bike, ultra light rims 21 speed

What rim you need has too many variables (width of tire to be used, your weight, balance of road/off-road usage and roughness of off-road use, budget, etc.) that you have not mentioned for anyone to give an appropriate recommendation.

Secondly, unless the rims are both bent it's a waste of money and effort to replace them, as good quality rims and spokes alone (a new rim may need different length spokes) could cost almost as much as the original cost of the bike ($119), let alone when you add labor.

Finally, worrying about "ultra light" rims, especially on a bike that weighs 35+ lbs, is useless. Shaving off ounces when the bike and rider together could weigh 200 lbs. is not going to make it faster or easier to pedal.

I a have pulsar 200dtsi model its heavy I was thinking can the body parts be done in fiber body to light-weight and may be even changing the exhaust

Hi, Stanley in 1968 my first Honda was a CL175 street scrambler I weighed 130 lbs. my bike weighed 439 lbs. your Bajaj is a very light bike changing the sheet metal for fiberglass or plastic would be extremely expensive and weight savings 3-5 lbs. the exhaust is a toss up usually the lightweight systems are priced by the exotic material they are made from very pricey $500-$700 not too sure why you want your bike to be lighter but if you leave your answer in the comment section perhaps I can point you in the right direction, for more information about your question and valuable "FREE" downloads that you will need please click on the links below. Iright wheel making rubbing crunching sound.

Either bad bearings in the wheel or the bearings need to be regreased, its an easy fix for a do-it yourselfer- or take it to your local bike shop , you can get the grease at any auto store(cheaper).

How big a job to repair a transmission on a 1985 XJ700 Maxim. 2nd grear does not work. And it will come out of 1st gear at full throttle. It runs great and the rest of the problems with this bike are...

It is a pretty big job and requires some special tools. The problem by the way, is a slightly bent shift fork. Getting the repair parts, ( fork and gasket set ), will be a problem. Additionally, finding a shop willing to work on a 26 year old bike is also a problem. Most shops will not work on a bike more than 10 years old. The cost for the repair is something around $1100. I would suggest a newer bike. Please rate my answer. Thanks.
