You don't say what the filter is in but never gasoline, unless it is an engine air filter in a vehicle, and then only one that is foam and reusable. Typically, blow with an airline, only do that once or twice and then buy new.

Home filters for furnaces, heating? Buy new.

Vacuum cleaners, wash in soapy water, shake and dry thoroughly.

Air purifiers, same as above.

I have Coleman Evcon Presidential furnace. I can't find where is filter. I want to replace it but can't locate it on furnace. is there any?

If the filter is not mounted on the inside of the wall intake and serviced by a hinged door then it maybe located in the air handler directly below the blower fan in a thin tray that is just shy of the width of the air handler and as thin as a 1/2 inch. There is usually a single thumb pull in the center to access the tray. Here's the bad news. Out of the 5 times I've run into this the reusable filter was removed and thrown out, no one knew what happened to it, there were no disposable replacements that thin to fit. I ended up installing an intake vent door that fit standard disposable filters which cost less than going back to the manufacturer for the original reusable replacement part. Hope you find this helpful.Make sure you check the upstairs ceilings for intake filters first before you give up.

I have a fairly large Hot Springs spa with 5 reusable filters. I keep it pretty clean but was considering adding something to help keep oils under control. I see several alternatives on the market:

the oil is from the body and will be impossible to control. any additive you use may cause irritation to the users. Spa baths are very bad for spreading disease ( hotels with spas have to empty and clean the spa after every person staying there by law)

they can be cleaned in home use by using a detergent on a rag and cleaning around the water line. there are reusable filters on the market that you can clean in detergent and rinse out to save the cost of filters.

No power under acceleration 2001 chevy impala, ive added injector cleaner , cleaned maf, also checked cat ,seemed good, also replaced map sensor

well it is a chevy, its always had that problem. Haha, just kidding. But, seriously, it can be something as simple as a clogged air filter. I did all that you did on a car I had, and then, I replaced the air filter that I thought was good (reusable K&N) and it ended up being that. Try the air filter. Either replace, or clean it.

I'm trying to locate the filter # so I can replace the filter in this air conditioner. Also, I need step by step instructions on how to replace the filter.

Unless the filter is totally destroyed , it is a washable reusable filter. Or if it's not extremely dirty, you can vacuum it to clean it.

If it's extremely dirty was it in warm water and mild dish washing liquid. Rinse thoroughly, shake any access water off and allow to completely dry, before replacing it. Never operate the unit without the air filter in place.

Always turn the unit OFF & Unplug it, before removing the filter.

If the filter is completely destroyed, go to the following link to locate a Frigidaire Parts Distributor near you.

I hope the above information helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Blowing air out ,not pulling in

It may seem like no air is being pulled in - but air must be going in if air is being blown out. The air coming has to come from somewhere. It is more likely that the air flow is restricted.

This appliance has a reusable, washable filter. It should be checked regularly and cleaned as needed to allow the free flow of air into the appliance. A dirty filter restricts airflow and reduces efficiency of the appliance. It can also cause frost to clog the fins, too. If this happens, shut off and allow to thaw. Clean the filter, shake off excess water and reinstall. Power up the appliance again and it should work as expected. Do not operate the appliance without a filter installed. If you do, the fins will clog with dirt and are much more difficult to clean than a filter.

I hope this helps and good luck. Please rate my reply - thanks.

How often should you clean your filter, and is there anything to be aware of when cleaning it?

Filters should be changed/ or cleaned at minimum every 30 days, If the filter is
reusable, it can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner with the brush attachment, or
if it is washable just mild soap and water and allowed to completely dry before
reinstalling it. If it has cardboard surrounding it then it is not reusable. Hope this helps

Nothing comes out

You should either clean the medicine cup and tubing with 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water and let it air dry (shouldn't use dishwasher to clean it), or replace the kit and the filter (do that anyway) and it should work fine after that.

Is there a reusable bag for a Kirby Gsix

Kirby salesmen have told many that the new polypropalene bags are reusable, however they from what i can tell are not. sure you can empty them like you could any other bag but filtration is going to be greatly reduced as well as air flow which will greatly reduce cleaning ability as kirbys need air flow to work properly. also reusing these bags could possibly damage machine since it is having to work harder.
