Question about Lexmark X83 All-In-One InkJet Printer
When print command is initated the paper will not fully feed. Sounds as if the wheels are spinning but not catching the paper for proper feed.
Knwrght is correct in his answer. If you look inside where you would when you change a cartridge, look to the far left side where you can see white gears. There should be a gear on the end of the shaft that runs the paper up to the print head. Look for pieces laying in the bottom of the machine.

There is a gear that normally breaks, or cracks and it does not finish feeding past the print head, no parts are available for it unless you find one for sale with a different problem, you are stuck
