Question about Televison & Video
I have just bought a new Sony TV & I need the 4 digit code for my Sky+ remote, so I can hopefully also control TV from the Sky + remote. Can you help me & tell me what it is?
Problem: Need Sony manufactures code for the Sky remote.
Solution: Your TV Code for Sony is 0000
1. Turn on your TV.
2. Ensure that the front of your Sky Navigator is closed.
3. Press "tv”.
4. Hold down "select" and the red button together for about two seconds, until the red LED on the Sky Navigatore flashes twice.
5. Press "tv" again.
6. Key in the four digit code for your brand of TV. The LED on the Sky Navigator will flash twice. If the LED illuminates only once, re-check the code for your brand of TV and start again at step 5.

Tips for a great answer:
Programming the remote control
To control your TV firstly switch on the TV set, point the Sky remote at the TV, press the "TV" button on the Sky remote, then press and hold the "Select" and "Red" buttons together until the red light at the top of the Sky remote control flashes twice. Enter the code for the TV listings below (Use the 4 digit codes from the left hand column), the red light will flash twice if a valid code has been entered. Press the standby button on the Sky remote control, this should switch the TV set off, if so then press the "Select" button to store the settings. You should now be able to switch the TV back on and use the volume control button from your Sky remote.
If the TV did not switch off then it may require a different code, you can either start again using one of the alternative Direct codes below or continue with this process by continuously pressing "TV" then "Standy" then "TV" then "Standby" etc until the TV set switches off. This will provide a manual scan for variations within that product code.
If you are still unable to control your TV from the remote control see: Programming The Sky Remote or go to Sky's official website where you can see if a particular remote control version number will operate your make of TV, this can be found at: Sky please remember to use your back button.
