Question about Hobart N50 Stand Mixer
I believe the gear is slipping on my Hobart A200 stand mixer. I was making bread when the machine started to make a strange noise. The dough hook still spins, so it cant be the motor. The other problem I have is that the dough hook is stuck on the machine, I have tried hitting the stem and under the hook with a mallet, dropping in penetrating oil and soaking it with water, nothing seems to work. I would be very thankful for any help. Candy
In what speed is it slipping? You only use 1st speed for dough, right? Can you put it in gear and stop the hook from moving with your hand?Let me know.
