Question about IBM Infoprint 1352 Laser Printer
Im having issues with my Infoprint 1352 and its printing faded text on the left side of the page and normal on the right, i have changed the fuser unit to a new one and tryed a different working toner cartridge still no change, Ive tryed both of the same fuser and cartridge in a working 1352, ive tryed different settings also different trays no change, it becoming fustrating, just wondered if there is a maintenace mode? could you please help with a solution.
Reposted as fault with information.
You require a replacement transfer roller, if you remove the toner cartridge and look in the printer, you will see a roller which sits underneath the toner cartridge, this is what you need to replace

could be, but first take out the cartridge then look inside the unit there is a black roller, kind of spongy or hard rubber, is the black part towards the right? grab it and give it a tug and see if you can SLIDE it to the left if so then it needs to be replaced, that is your problem.
It could also be the fuser, are the copies on the left coming out smudged or with a grainy shadow? then it's the fuser.
