Cant find num lock or equivelant on a toshiba laptop

Depending on the age and layout of your keyboard it could be a couple of options. If you have a button that looks like either of the following pictures then press FN key and that button or press the FN key and the F11 key which should have a little square picture that looks like a grid. A couple of higher end models have a little led strip above the keyboard that just looks like indicator lights but in truth are actually toggle buttons as well try gently pushing the lit number one if you have this strip. Hope this helps.

There is a "Fn" key next to the "Ctrl" key on the left of the keyboard.

Keep it pressed when pushing on one of the funktions on the top of the keyboard (next, play, stop, ...).

I need to use the FN keyto type normall caracters on the keyboard instead of pushing that fn button for the extra caracters how can i solve this?

The FN button and F11 Button will reset your problem, press both at the same time and then try it, it should work if not then you may need to contact acer and get a return authorization to have warranty repair, as this has been a problem with acer from the aspire one on up, hopefully this will restore your problem to normal.

To use my key board with out pushing the fn button

The Fn key is used in conjunction with F3 to F12 function keys to select second function assigned to these function keys.
Why do you want not to use the Fn key on your keyboard?

How do i type on the keys without pushing the font key?

Do you mean the function button? The button with 'Fn' on it? You have the number lock engaged. Press the 'number lock' button, and all should be good.
Let me know if this works, and please rate my answer. Good luck!

Fn button fujitsu siemens li1705 not working

Pressing fn-F2 is telling your wireless utility software to activate/deactivate your wireless card. You should also be able to do it through your wireless utility software. There is Usually a little icon for it at the bottom-right of your screen.
