I cannot get my MHXPRO 2 w fluid head off my manfrotto 055 tripod both brand new. I have tried to follow the instructions but without succes

Try removing the centre column, then clamp it securely in a vice (or vise, if you prefer), packed with wooden battens to prevent damage.
Ensure that all the locks on the head are secured tightly. Then rotate the head counter-clockwise, and it should unscrew from the thread at thye top of the centre column.
If it still won't shift, try spraying a little WD40 or other such lubricant at the place where the head attaches to the centre column, leave it to soak in, then try again.
If you still have no luck, hie thee to thy local repair facility and humbly beg assistance from the artificer.

What does DE error indicate?

DE indicates "Door error" The door isn't closed properley or the door interlock mechanism is failing. Samsung and LG machines do occasionally have an issue with the door interlock connector coming adrift from the lock mechanism. Unfortunately it's as likely to be a faulty lock or a problem with the main controller

Yellow flame

The problem is with the orifice leading to the burner. If it is not centred then you will get yellow flame. Or you are impeding the flow out of the burner and it is not mixing properley. I would pull the burners apart and make sure everything is clear and the orifice is centred.

My hazards will not switch on also when i touch the indicators to flash with out turning on properley they do not work

Hello, Try to push the hazard button if it is intergrated on the steering column. There is a dual set of contact points inside the turn signal stalk that can go out of alignment such that nothing works. When you try to activate the Hazard button on top of the steering column it may sometimes shift everything back into position. Do this perhaps 20 times to clear internal debris.

The stalk is called a "Multi-function switch" or MFS and all of the wiring ends for the turn signals and wiper controls are in this control head. Because of the many parts that are controlled by this one switch, it is more expensive.

Also check with an Autoparts store for the Flasher units, as there are usually 2 sets, one for the turn signals and another for the 4-way Emergency flashers. It would be very hard for both to fail at once and that is why the problem is usually the MFS stalk.

The part is secured to the steering column and the plastic cover on the steering column must be removed to get at the mounting bolts for the MFS. The bolts are usually shaped for a Torx or Security head and require a tool for that shape to remove them.

Sometimes the plastic cover of the steering column also must clear the Igntion switch, depending on the size of the flare on the keyswitch cover and the opening size on the plastic column cover. This means that the Ignition switch may also require removal.

You will need to disconnect and reconnect the Neg battery terminal more than once to release the Ignition switch lock and then to turn and clear the built-in Interlock system. By the time you are ready to pull the MFS, all power should be off.

The Ignition keyswitch should have a locking pin that is released by pressing a spring release on a hole beneath the plastic column wrap. A nail or drill bit is inserted in the lower release hole to free the lock cylinder.

Not all cars require the complete disassembly of the Ignition key, just those which prevent the removal of the plastic cover to get at the MFS bolts.

This is a job which can be done at a Collision shop and sometimes at a Glass shop to repair Theft or Collision damage to the steering column. Of course Dealerships also do this work, but this is a routine repair independent shops can do.

I hope my solution is very helpful to you.

96 Audi A4 2.8L how to replace combo head light switch on steering column?

For this repair you will need a 6mm Allen key or socket, long no. 1 phillips screwdriver, 24mm socket with extension and ratchet handle and a T20 Torx driver or socket.

Park the vehicle and make sure the front wheels are straight and the steering wheel centred. Remove the negative battery terminal (make sure you have the radio code first!). Loosen the two 6mm Allen bolts on the back of the steering wheel and CAREFULLY remove the airbag by pulling straight out on the orange connector on the back of the airbag. Always store the airbag, when removed from the vehicle, with the side facing the driver in the UP position, preferably out of the vehicle.

Loosen and remove the 24mm nut in the centre of the steering wheel. Make note of the position of the wheel relative to the steering shaft with a marker or scribe. Do not remove the steering wheel from the shaft as yet. Next remove the two phillips screws from the recess holes in the bottom steering column cover. Loosen the locking handle under the steering column to allow it to drop down and with the handle still loose, remove the Torx bolt from the centre of the lower cover. Next, remove the upper steering column cover and disconnect the two wiring connectors that come from the back of the steering wheel. With those two wires disconnected, remove the steering wheel by pulling it straight off towards you. Place the steering wheel on a bench or other flat surface so the wiring and connectors are not damaged.

Remove the three small phillips head screws from the lower steering column cover that were behind the steering wheel and carefully pull the cover free around the ignition tumbler. You now have access to the turn signal, headlamp and wiper switches. Be careful when removing electrical connectors and be sure to note the position of all screws and other fasteners.

Reinstall in the reverse order and follow procedure for entering radio code and resetting auto down feature on LH and RH front windows.

Need to replace ignition switch

Remove steering wheel ( phillips screws to remove horn, 19mm nut in centre), remove shrouds over column( phillips screws) , remove shroud above footwell ( the one that covers the fuse box etc , phillips screws again) undo the column and let it drop down ( 12mm head bolts up from underneath, directly below speedo )
You will see that the ignition switch/ steering lock is a grey casting held in by shiny bolts with no heads.
The easiest way to remove is to use a hacksaw and cut slots in the top of the bolts so that you can insert a flat bladed screwdriver and undo them ( this will involve cutting the casting as well, only cut enough to slot the bolts, don't cut the casting in half ! )
Some people prefer to use a pin punch and a hammer to tap the bolts around till the come loose, the choice is yours!
The loom is held into the lock mechanism by one phillips head bolt , undo this and remove the switch.
You are now ready to install your replacement lock.
Just repeat steps in reverse, make sure the lock part of the barrel sits neatly in the hole in the column before you tighten the bolts ( using the slots you cut earlier and a screwdriver.)
There may be slight differences as I am used to right hand drive corollas but my experience is that most things are generic.

Villeroy & boch flush mechenism needs to be replaced

This problem is either two things:

1/ The water inlet valve is letting by and going down the overflow pipe. (Connected to the main centre column). You can check this by taking off the lid off.

2/ Centre column seal at the base is letting by. You can unclick the centre column by pushing the two paddles either side.

Then lift out the centre column and check the grey washer at the base. You can turn this washer around and see if this solves - if not the column has probably has a part snap off.

You can get spares here:
