I have the same problem with my magnavox. i also would like to know. what we already tried was plug it in another outlet, it worked for about a week but now it happened again. if you find out E-mail me @ firstname.lastname@example.org

Backlight invertor is most likely cause of the problem, in rare occasions defective CCFL lamps could cause similar symptoms. Replace defective parts, reset lamp error counter and you good to go.
