Question about HP Pavilion Tx1110us Notebook
My tx1110us is dead. When you press the power button, the lights go on and the screen flashes for a second and then it goes back off. Power supply and battery are working fine. I test the ram and they are okay. It used to overheat a lot. I think it's from the motherboard or graphic card. Either way the motherboard has to go. Can someone tell me from where to buy a new motherboard and how to install? (I'm not a complete moron when it comes to pcs). Thanks Rob.
Try to power up laptop when battery is taken of, if symptoms are the same try to replace CPU and keep battery of the laptop at all times, chenge power supply if this deos not help then possibly your motherboard need repairn. You can sent it to me to have a look, inspection is free. go to www.laptoplabs.net to find my address.
