Lines in the picture

When using my ID printer, there is a line that goes through the person's picture. Everything else prints fine. I've changed the ribbon so I know that is not the problem.

If cleaning did not work, the print head would need to be replaced. This is a simple replacement for people that are some what technical. However, it is a costly item. I believe the part number is: 81510 Check with whom ever you purchase it from. Another option, is to try and change your layout. Is the line is only in one area, move your template accordingly. The lines in the print head are caused by blown pixels. The print head is extreamly fragile. The printer needs to be kept clean, and the cards not being used need to be kept in a clean enviorment, and the printhead/printer should be cleaned if the ribbon breaks. Hope this helps.

It sounds like the the print head itself maybe dirty. Try taking out the ribbon and cleaning the print head.

I have a Datacard SP55 plus and recently I started to get two white lines on the id card that I am printing and it goes right through the persons name so it is very noticeable I am not sure how to fix...

Hello,
You have a physically damaged print-head.
The print head is in the cover and us user replaceable by pressing the lever inside the cover.
Print heads are considered consumables and need to replaced at maintenance. You can contact Datacard at there web site and they can have someone come out and change for, as well as service the printer. Or you can buy one online about $550 and change your self.

Not printing properly

Print heads need to be cleaned cause they are clogged which is why even replacing the cartridges is not fixing the problem.

If the printhead can't be cleaned then a new printer is in order.

HP Deskjet F4180 Color changes and lines in photo printing

HP always recommend that ink cartridge should be replace by original ink.

As this kind of scenario will occur if the ink will just be replace by a refill ink.

I'd say it's probably the printer driver. Uninstal and reinstal it or update it. Printer drivers are a comon cause of printing faults.

Black lines interferring with printouts

Not really sure what you mean by lines on your documents, but you could have excessive ink spilled on your printer rollers.or the page bar,,this can usually be remedies by taking the printer apart and carefully cleaning all of the surfaces the paper run against.
