I've just bought a second hand quinny buzz 2008 model and I can't get the brakes on - how do I get them to work? Im assuming it's the red right brake to stop and grey left brake to release but can't get...

Good Afternoon

You are correct; The red foot pedal should apply the brakes and the grey foot pedal should release them.

Unfortunately there are no quick fixes to resolve this; due to the safety implications of the brakes not functioning correctly we would recommend the unit is returned to our engineers for inspection & repair work required.

If you're a UK customer please contact the customer service team on 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30 to book it in for chargeable inspection & repair work. Standard charge is £60 and will include courier delivery of the product back to your address. In addition you'll need to make arrangements and cover costs for the unit to be sent into our engineers with courier service.

If you're not a UK customer please visit and select the country you're in then use the "Contact Us" tab to get in touch with the customer service team in your area.

The front wheel on my quinny buzz 3 hardly moves and makes steering the pram very difficult. Especially on tiled floors, such as shopping centres. The wheel isn't locked, so it's on the swivel wheel...

The best thing to do is to remove the front wheel (depress the black buttons either side of the front axle and pull!) then completely clean the wheel assembly in warm water and a SMALL amount of gentle detergent, then dry completely, apply a small amount of vaseline or similar, then replace. This should help.

The Lascal BuggyBoard will fit on the Quinny Buzz in both the Pram and pushchair mode. However, it's a bit of a tight fit for your toddler. We had the same issue.

Should the carry cot piece have the two metal parts on it to clip into the frame of the pram?

Good Afternoon

The Quinny Dreami pram body attaches onto the Quinny Buzz chassis using the two plastic adaptors included with the Quinny Buzz purchase. Replacement adaptors can be ordered via your Quinny retailer.

My brake on my quinny buzz no longer works - help!

This happened to me on both brake pedals, nothing happened when I put them on, the pedals just did not move at all. I tried adjusting the brakes as per the dorel video on you tube, but still nothing. My husband found the solution though. He worked some oil into both pedal mechanisms and worked it through until both pedals moved again, once he had plied through a couple of times, both pedals and the brake now work fine, just turned out the pedals has seized over the years and just needed a good oiling. Worth giving this a try.

Quinny buzz

I had the exact same problem with my quinny buzz. When i went to get it repaired i was told that we had broken the gas line in the hydrolics in the frame. When i tried to collapse the buzz for the first time, when i got the the point where you meet some resistance (if you haven't pressed and pushed the buttons properly) i forced it closed which broke the hydrolics. This can't actually be repaired but the pram can still be used safely as long as you manually snap the frame up, ensuring it locks into place. The two black parts meet at the top when it's locked in properly so you should be able to see if it is or not. Make sure when you collapse the pram that you do press and push the buttons fully. You should meet no resistance and it should collapse freely when this is done properly. Hope this helps!
