How do I retrieve pictures from iPad I cloud

For iOS users, apple enables you to backup your photos with iCloud anytime anywhere only if you can get access to Wi-Fi connection. If you have backed up photos to iCloud before you deleted them, you are able to directly recover them from your iCloud backups at ease. retrieve-pictures-from-ipad-cloud-oxaxc0rwhkhzilrwacqreyis-5-2.jpg
  1. Click Sittings, then tap on General on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on Reset on the bottom of General.

I have a disabled ipod and have no idea how to unlock it

First you have to plug it in and start i tunes...if i tunes recognizes it, the you can restore it from itunes. there is a way to restore it by selecting restore my ipod from one of the settings menus..If im not mistaken, its in....
Use the following steps to restore your device:
  1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed and running before attempting to update.
  2. Connect your device to your computer.
  3. Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices.
  4. Select the Summary tab.
  5. Select the Restore option.
  6. When prompted to back up your settings before restoring, select the Back Up option (as seen in the image below). If you have just backed up the device, it is not necessary to create another.
    ht1414_03--back_up_settings-002-en.jpg
  7. Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (as long as you've backed up your device, you should not have to worry about restoring your phone).
    ht1414_04--restore_dialog-002-en.jpg
  8. Once the restore process has completed, the device restarts and displays the Apple logo while starting up:
    ht1414_05--restored-002-en.jpg
iPhone only: For the iPhone only, after a restore, the iPhone displays the "Connect to iTunes" screen. Keep your device connected until the "Connect to iTunes" screen goes away or you see "iPhone is activated." If iTunes does not have an Internet connection, you cannot complete this step.

  9. The final step is to restore your device from a previous backup. Once your device is restored and-in the case of the iPhone-in the process of activating, you should be able to see the following in iTunes

The apple appears on the screen and never goes away. 3GS

Turn the iphone off, hold the menu button, now plug in the usb cord that is connected to the computer. Keep holding the menu button until a dock connector appears on the screen. You're now in recovery mode and should be able to restore your iPhone. If that doesn't work you may have a broken logic board. Here is an iPhone Repair Guide that shows how to open an iPhone. Boards are easily available on Ebay2_bing.gif. If you want somebody else to do it for you go to iPad Repair

I cannot use the touchscreen for the upperhalf of the iphone

Hello.

Found some info online:

Try the following:
  • Reset your iPhone Sometimes, dead spots on the screen are merely the result of frozen applications or an unresponsive interface rather than actual hardware failure. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button (on the top of the unit) and the Home button simultaneously for several seconds until the Apple logo appears and check for persistence of the issue.
  • Clean the screen A glaze of any foreign substance can cause operational difficulties for the iPhone's screen. Clean the screen with the cleaning cloth that came in the box with the iPhone.
  • Restore your iPhone As a last resort, try restoring. This can remove lingering software issues that might be causing a lack of screen response. To perform a restore, Connect your iPhone to your Mac or PC and, in iTunes, click the Restore button under the Summary tab. Please NOTE: Restoring the phone will erase contacts, calendars, photos and other data on the phone, but will restore automatically backed-up information including text messages, notes, call history, contact favorites, sound settings, widget settings, etc.
If you're still having problems, contact Apple for repair.

Hope this helps.

Iphone 3G Erase All content and settings problem

DFU means Device Firmware Update. If a restore using Recovery Mode doesn't work you will want to use DFU Mode as a last resort. When placing your iPhone into DFU Mode it does not load the OS before attempting the restore

videothumb.pngWatch the Video!
For your convenience this tutorial is available in video format also. Click the Watch It button to view the tutorial!

To put the iPhone into DFU mode so you can do an iTunes firmware restore follow these steps:

Step One
Open iTunes and connect the iPhone to your Mac.

Step Two
Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.
4985-500.png

Step Three
After exactly 10 seconds release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.

The iPhone screen will remain black like this:

NOTE***: It may take a few attempts to get your iPhone into DFU mode. Generally, I hold down both buttons then release the Home button just before I think the Apple logo would appear. If you are still holding both buttons down and you see the Apple logo you are holding them down for too long!

White apple in middle of black screen of iphone3g

Looks like your iPhone won't boot, It happens sometimes if your phone is jailbroken and you have installed another non-standard language interface, i install Hebrew on my phones, If i then erase all settings it will fail to boot, like yours...
I suggest you restore the phone and re-jailbreak
since you have erased all settings i presume you have no personal data on it, if you do have contacts/calendar/SMS items, try to backup via iTunes before you restore, even when only the apple is showing, sometimes you can connect to the phone via iTunes/WinSCP
Good luck!
