I lost the directions for my venturer digital photo frame and forget how to configure it. The menu button is no help. I'm trying to change the viewing interval from 5 to 30 sec but none of the indicated buttons work. Do you have to hold down more than one button at the same time or what?Couldn't find a catagory for digital photo frmes in your selection menu

Go to a retailer where they sell this Brand of Photo frame and be polite to the clerk or Manager and ask if they could PLEASE make you a copy of the instructions. You might want to offer them a couple of bucks for doing you the favor. If they tell you No, then ask for the phone # or web address off of the instructions or box so that you can contact the manufacturer and either get a new set of instructions mailed/faxed to you. You may need the instructions for another problem later down the road, so it would be WORTH it. Does that sound reasonable to you to have the complete instructions, rather than just knowing how to fix this one viewing problem. I would
definitely NEED the entire instructions, myself. Hopefully the manager of the store will take mercy on you and make you a copy. I have a good feeling
about this. If they are busy, be patient. It's a virtue.
Wait until someone is free of other customers. Let me know how you did OK. Best of Luck to You!!!

Is there a firmware updates for dff 1002(Digital photo frame)

Unlikely this is a first or second generation Digital Photo Frame. Also typically digital photo frames don't get firmware updates, unless they're third party hacks.

Was given digital picture frame . have no cd manual. haS 22 PICTURES ON IT .CAN I PUT MORE? MODEL NO. 7FF1

It depends on how big the existing pictures are. It has a 14MB internal memory, but it says about 12MB for storage. You can buy memory card to insert into the frame but it will not display internal memory once you insert a new memory card. If you bought a 512MB card, you could put hundreds to thousands of pictures in JPG format. You can hook the frame to your computer or directly to a digital camera. From the computer it takes a few seconds to convert the pictures. The frame will show up on your PC as a mass storage device and you will be able to delete photos as well.

I hope this helps

I just purchased a digital photo frame, the DP-758. I loaded photos from my USB key, 52 photos. I somehow have 233 photos on the photo frame, I don't know how. I would like to know how to delete...

hi there
your photo frame has not got a built in memory so it can only read pictures from the card you put in and only while the card is inserted. these extra pictures are either on your card, which you can delete yourself via your p.c., or they are stock demo pictures on the picture frame which can't be deleted.if you insert your card before you switch the frame on it should read only the card.

hope this helps

HOW TO CHANGE THE VENTURER PVS 1371 PORTABLE DVD PLAYER TO REGION FREE

  • Press the OPEN button and keep the tray open
  • Press code 3597
You will now be in a hidden menu system
  • Navigate manu to select Region Code and select Region 9
  • Press Enter
    Press Menu to Exit
  • Confirm Region change by pressing ANGLE then DISPLAY (still with tray open) and you will see a long string of letters and numbers ending with R9. (if successful).
  • Power off.
The "venturer" pvs 1371 is marketed under several brand names in different chain stores, not surprising that it was hard to find, it is also 'durabrand' 'pacific' 'Lennox' 'Alco' 'funai' 'Emerson' 'Sylvania' 'Symphonic' 'Orion' 'Maxell' 'Resonance' 'Initial technologies' in various incarnations, and not all the manufactuer's rebranded items are available in each brand, and not all of each brand are from the same manufacturer

Viewing digital photos on our television through our dvd recorder

nyork3,

This might be due to a problem with the DVD unit, or some configuration change that has taken place (possibly by accident).

Question: Did you upgrade Nero prior to your attempt at burning a disk when you first noticed the problem?

Question: Did you notice any changes to the quality of the burnt copies prior to the first indication of not being able to burn copies and view them on your television?

Question: Did you or anyone else change or alter the configuration and or physical cabling prior to this problem occurring?

I would suggest first that you check the configuration and cabling and then if possible purchase a DVD head cleaning disk (just in case this is being caused by dirty optics), and if the problem continues, it my be an electronics problem with the actual DVD device. In which case the unit will have to be serviced or replaced.

As for the explanation you requested, the possibilities are:
1) Changed or altered Configuration
2) Changed or altered cabling
3) System failure (Dirty optics)
4) System failure (Electronic components)

Possible Solutions:
1) Reestablish old system configuration
2) Reconnect cabling to prior cable configuration
3) Clean dirty optics
4) Have unit repaired at qualified Electronics repair facility

I hope this helps

Thank you

Philips dvp 3020 dvd player

Hi,

Pls try a full master reset which if done correctly would revert the unit back to factory default:
1. Power on the unit;
2. open the front panel lid to have access to the controls;
3. simultaneously press and hold the channel up and down buttons;
4. wait till "BYE" is displayed;
5. wait till clock switches off;
6. power on again and re-configure.

You may need to restore "Region Free"
1. Power on the DVP 3005.
2. Bring up the System Menu.
3. Navigate to the Preferences page.
4. Press the following combination of keys on your remote in this order to bring up the secret menu showing the Region Code.
1 3 5 5 6 6.
5. Use the arrow keys on the remote control to change the Region. To make it region free, set the Region code to “0′ (zero).
6. Exit the System Menu.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
