It's a Meade 114EQ-D that is the model--- a reflector style telescope on an Equatorial mount.

You can find a manual on the Meade web site here:

Look under the 4.5 inch REFLECTOR Heading.

I got a Meade Model 4600 at a yard sale with no info on it. I think it is missing a lens. Is there any way I can find out. Also, is there any written material or directions I can get for it? Thanks. K

This is a reflector style telescope on an Equatorial mount.

The mount must be polar aligned in order to use it. Read my TIPS on equatorial mounts on my profile page.

The eyepieces slip right into the focuser. The LARGER the number written on the eyepice the LOWER the magnification.

Here are all the Meade manuals, find your telescope near the REFLECTOR topic header:

How do i put a telescope together without the instructions

This is a small 60mm refractor, on an equatorial mount. Sure wish you had NOT bought this scope.

First it is only 60mm about the same size as a pair of 10x50mm binoculars. You would be able to see and find more sky objects with the binoculars.

Second it is on an equatorial mount, which must be polar aligned in order to work properly. So you will need to line up the axis of the mount onto the star Polaris. You can read my TIPS on my profile page to learn how to do this.

They all go together in a similar fashion. Here is a very similar Meade telescope manual that you can use to help you assemble it:

Here is a link to a Meade telescope similar to your telescope. They all go together pretty much the same way.

You apparently have a refractor on an equatorial mount. You must learn how to POLAR ALIGN the telescope on Polaris to use the telescope. I do not recommend equatorial mounts to beginners.

I WANT TO FIND A MANUEL FOR THIS TELESCOPE

You will not find a manual. However you have a reflector that is mounted on an equatorial mount. Meade has a very similar telescope and maintains a web site for all of their telescopes. Look under REFLECTOR heading for one that is similar to your telescope. They all assemble in a similar fashion.

this one is very similar:

Konus 200 telescope mount

Most of these German Equatorial mounts are sourced from various factories in China and are knockoffs of earlier Japanese models. Konus and other rebranders simply by a lot from one of the factories and do not provide parts or service support. If you have the Konus Newtonian telescope, (200 mm diameter (7.8"), focal 1000 mm.) with heavy-duty equatorial mount, I think that it's made by Jinghua. This is a pretty common mount (Meade sold it for a while and still sells a Jinghua as the LXD-75). Your best bet it to post a wanted ad on Cloudy Nights Classifieds. There are a few of us that keep inventories of spare parts from damaged equipment fro service and repairs. HTH, Geo.
