I have a DP7040/DP8440, that has been working fine. Half an hour ago, while I had it running, there was a power surge and the DVD player shut off. When power was restored, I tried to turn the DVD player back on. However, all I am able to get is a blue screen, with "Total Files: 0" in the upper left corner. Below that is are two boxes; the left has the options: "Root," "Common," "Jacket_P," "Video_TS" and "Win," with icons next to them. The right box has the options "Setup" and "Skins." Below these boxes are buttons with the icons for rewind, fast forward and play (on three), while the others say "Program" and "Thumbnail." I can't get out of this screen, nor can I get the player to function. I am currently living abroad, so I do not have the option of taking the DVD player to an electronics store. What should I do?
