Question about GE Monogram ZISS360NRSS 36" Built-In Side-By-Side Refrigerator (ZIS-S360NRSS, ZIS S360NRSS)
Fridge temp was set at 5 (out of 10) which is normal setting. Has been set that way forever. Suddenly notice the OJ was starting to freeze, the strawberries were frozen inside and some other items crystallizing. Why???

Same thing happened to us. A baffle that conducts air from the freezer to the fridge gets stuck in the "open" position and needs to be replaced. That'll fix that problem but watch for others including the water dispenser that spontaneously begins blasting water across your floor. We've dealt with this twice.

The freezer should be set to 0 degrees and the fridge 37 degrees according to the manual. If your unit has only numbers then it would number 4 or 5 for the freezer and 6 or 7 for the fridge.

I have a GE refrigerator with the same problem of my food freezing in the refrigerator. I spoke to an appliance part person and they sold me a temperature sensor for 20 bucks. They said it would be located in the control panel, but I took the control panel off and can't find the sensor. I'm now looking on yahoo answers to find out where the sensor is located.

OK, I think I understand. Thing is we need to do a few things to see if your control board is the problem or if the fan or a freon leak is the answer. You need to tell me if this began suddenly or if over a period of time. I have been having trouble lately from Fixya if the customer (YOU) responds to my solutions. Let me know if you want my help and I will see if I get a email letting me know of your response, Thanks, Sea Breeze
