Make sure that the connector fits both Male/Female ports on the monitor and computer match. Then make sure that the software is installed properly. If the cords don't match, go to your local best buy or tech store and purchase an adapter.

HELP! bought a BX2450 Samsung monitor and it`s not showing full resolution, i need a driver for my macbook pro 13` (mid 2010) anyone????

I have a very strong suspicion that you are connecting your Macbook Pro to the VGA input on the monitor instead of the HDMI.

Your Macbook Pro uses the Mini Displayport connection type. Are you using a Mini Displayport to HDMI adapter? If not, purchase one and that will resolve your issue.

If you are already using a Mini Displayport to HDMI adapter, make sure your resolution is set to the maximum (1920x1080 according to Samsung's website) in Apple Menu > System Preferences > Displays > Display.

If available, select the 'Best for Display' option which should automatically set the maximum resolution for the display. If not, select 'Scaled' and choose 1920x1080.

Go to system preferences > displays, then there's an option to rotate the display. You'll also need the corresponding cable to connect it. Enjoy the mac!

How do i get my macbook pro to work with the monitor gateway VX720

You'll need a mini DVI to VGA adapter. The adapter I currently use was purchased at Best Buy for under $20. You might also try Ebay. I definitely recommend this as it is an invaluable addition to your MacBook Pro.

My macbook pro wont start and i can hear the noise of the starup but the screen is black

Connect to external monitor to isolate the problem. If you get a picture on external monitor, then you know your screen is fu.k.d up. Since its a MacBook Pro, it might still be under the 1 year warranty, so take it to the Apple store and have them deal with it. If you get no picture on the external monitor, then you know you got a problem with the computer.

Macbook pro + IBM m4000

Depends on the connections you have on both. Most MacBook Pros have a DVI connector on the side. If the IBM projector takes that sort of input, then all you need is that cable.
If the IBM projector has a VGA input, then you'll need an adaptor from DVI to VGA.
(VGA input is standard monitor looking connector.)
