How do you get to the driver belt to reattach

If the Drive belt came loose or broke off from the scanner, the best suggestion I could recommend is to replace the scanner. We do not sell the drive belt to replace or fix the scanner.

I would go to Xerox.com and look up their knowledge base. Here is a copy of data from their site related to this problem:

Symptom: Scanned images have poor image quality, are fuzzy, unclear, or hard to read.
Cause: There are several things that can lead to poor image quality including the scan settings, dirt on the scanner, and driver problems. Solution: Note: If you scan as a PDF file and your scans look fuzzy when viewed in PaperPort, try right clicking on the file and selecting "Open" to open them in Adobe Reader. If they display fine in Adobe Reader then there is nothing wrong with the scans, it is simply that they are not being displayed well in PaperPort.

The following solutions can help resolve poor scan quality.

Solution 1 - Adjust the scan settings

Try increasing the resolution of your scan. 300 dpi to 400 dpi should be clear for most images

  • If you are scanning in Black and White, try Grayscale or Color. Some images will not display correctly in Black and White
  • You can also try adjusting the brightness and contrast
  • Note: For information on adjusting your scan settings, refer to the user guide for your scanner
Solution 2 - Clean and Calibrate the scanner

Note: Calibration only applies to sheetfed scanners.

For that first you need to uninstall old driver and software with revo uninstaller. Click here Download from above link and install then uninstall old driver and software with it. Also go to device manager right click on my computer then click on property then ->device manager uninstall all usb drivers then it will automatic install all usb drivers download driver from your printer's manufecturer web sites then install. Make sure there is not any incompatible driver or software on computer. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa..

I can't install my Documate 632 on my Dell laptop running Win 7 64 bit. It was working in the past, but quit working. I uninstalled all associated software and started over. It just won't install,...

I need the drive gear for the adf on a xerox documate 636,its the only gear when you open the adf.jerrysaunders@msn.com
