do you have the sound set to surrond sound? What it sounds like is that it is trying to play through surrond speakers but you dont have them, which is why you can hear the music and not the actors voices. click with the right mouse button on the speaker in the bottom right of your screen, then click on sounds , now click on the playback tab in the sound window, click on the sound device shown and then click configure, choose stereo and choose two speakers. Continue to the end then try to play the video and see if you can now hear the voices. If you cant then you maybe missing codecs needed to play the audio correctly. Please state if this is a movie you have downloaded or a dvd film on disc etc
It sounds to me as though your sound jack has been damaged. Look inside where the plug goes though, there may be a small amount of lint in there. I would also recommend that if you cannot see any damage, you reset it by holding down both the menu and center button until you see an apple appear on the screen. After it loads play a song, if it still sounds scratchy, connect it to itunes and restore it by going to the summary page and clicking the restore/update button. After reloading your music listen to a track again. If the issue still remains, you have a hard ware issue and depending on how old it is you may be able to get it fixed by apple under your warranty. To find out, you'd need to call apple support at 1-800-APL-CARE (1-800-275-2273).
you need to update your codecs. a codec is a Coder/decoder hence the name. the file is coded at one place and your computer has to decode it. First off you have to find out what file isnt playing correctly be it a divx, and avi, an mpeg, an mp3 , an mp4 , a wav...... and on and on. once you figure out wich one is messing up do a google search for the codec. example divx = bad then search "divx codec download" and follow the links till you find one you can download. scan it for virus then install.
Virus is atacked in your hard drive. so please scan your music otherwise remove the music from your hard drive. Than you instal Oprating system drives and do the os repair then re download the music. before instal the music instal anti virus in your hard drive because virus means some of the drives are deleted from in your system opratind system thas way your system is shotdown.
hi, first check the speakers if they r bad, u can do this by connecting external headphones, if it still sounds the same, then the probs is with ur sound card, uninstall it and install it back, let me know
