As the output bin accumulates paper, the output bin delivery flap rises until a flag blocks the photosensor (PS911). When the photosensor is blocked, this message appears. Rotate the output bin delivery flap up and down. The flap must move freely. If the top cover has been replaced, make sure that it has been installed correctly.
Hi, Remove all the papers from out put bin & check if not solved remove both side and top covers absorve right side of the out put bin flag sensor clean it with high pressure air or clean with dry cloth gently. Best of luck...Vinay
Laser printers "print" by throwing toner onto a electrostatically-charged drum. The ink that sticks is then heated, and melts into the paper. The ink that does not stick falls into the "waste-bin".
Eventually, that waste-bin gets full, and needs to be removed, and emptied.
A shredder at our office had the same problem. Take out the bin & turn the shredder upside down. There is a sensor on the bottom that looks like two led lights. If it is covered with paper dust, the shredder will think the bin is full. It might work if you simply wipe it off.
The sensor can be hard to find if it is really dusty, so just wipe off the entire pottom really well.
