Reboot to safe mode, run Malwarebytes full scan again, ALSO run your Up-To-Date Anti Virus Full scan when finished, reboot.

What Make, Model of computer and the OS yo are using. In safe mode with networking do you stll have the same issue? Have you tried to reinstall your Network Adapter? I don't know what OS you are using , but Open Device manager, go to Network Adapters, Uninstall your Wireless Network Adapter, reboot your machine, your OS should ID the Wireless Network Adapter and apply the driver. If not go to your Computer's website and select Wireless Network Adapter driver and install.

Thanks for your reply. The computer is an HP G50-104NR and is running on Vista Home Edition. Internet does not work in safe mode with networking either. I reinstalled the Atheros wireless LAN driver and I still can't connect to the internet. Under Network Adapters there are 3 listed - Atheros Wifi Adapter, (does not work and I believe that is from a different state where the computer was used) and Realtek.

Uninstall ALL the Wireless Network Adapters, ONLY the wireless. Reboot the computer Vista should ID the Wireless Adapter and apply the correct driver.. The Realtek is the Ethernet Adapter, right? Does the computer connect with a Ethernet Cable attached?

I am still shoing connected to the WiFi network with a strong signal but still can't connect to the internet. I can't connect with an ethernet cable either.

You did remove, in Network and Sharing Center, Manage Wireless Networks, your wireless? you want ALL Wireless Networks, removed from Auto detect, remove all. We want to start from searching for Available Wireless Networks to selecting your wireless and putting security code. Start from the beginning.

QA907 cannot connect to the internet

(assuming Vista): you need to add your user account to the network group - this is an unusual problem, even considering Windows, but it would seem that one of the recent updates or a bit of malware (BHO, trojan, or even a dialup manager for mobile broadband) has corrupted the registry. Also, run a registry cleaner through the system to repair any other damage that may be causing this error.

Trojans wont go away. Hijackthis SCAN help

I am of the mind to do a complete reinstall of the operating system including flash the BIOS even if it is the same version. I worked many hours tracking down and thinking you found every part of the problem on to hit an .EXE and it all starts over again....I just clean out everything and start fresh.
If you tell us what make and model of computer along with the operating system it is we can direct you to the drivers for the reinstall. Some off those programs - for example AOL seem to be virus magnets. (if it is a dell it is really simple if you just put in your service code- it give you your particular driver of your computer.)
That is what I would do...Or you can keep hunting.
please leave rating,,,thank you

My Compaq laptop Presario F700 series, Vista and AMD64AnthlON X2

Microsoft security updates have disabled wireless cards in the past, preventing systems that connect via wireless card to connect. One way around this is to revert to a point before the update or uninstall the particular update that is causing the problem through "Add Remove Programs" and usually within a few days Microsoft will have an update with a fix available.
Though this is the first I've heard of such a problem recently, it's not unheard of.
