Question about 1998-2002 Park Avenue Door Lock & Alarm Interface
Only have generic key, which means normally only have one way to disable alarm, by using key in driver's side door. All of a sudden the car alarm wont turn off. Replaced battery as this was the solution the last time this happened. As soon as new battery is connected, alarm sounds. How do I disable this? Unsure how to split green wire in driver's side door, can I cut it without splitting & grouding it? Easy solution please

The factory disarm wire for this vehicle is in the driver's door. It is light green, located at the module above the speaker and you can test it by turning the key in the driver's door. It will switch to ground when unlocking the door with the key.
