Use a piston block to stop the piston rising.
Remove the chain sproclet cover.

I need a choke lever for a Stihl 015 AV chainsaw. Could you tell me where I might find one?

Many parts for these saws are obsolete due to age. If not available at local Stihl dealer check online for Ron's saw shop. He does a lot of obsolete parts.

Pull cord works; but does not engage the crank

when you pull the cord the motion pulls out 2 pins that ingage the clutch. Some times when to much oil , dirt and wood dust gets in there it sticks. Some times I just clean it and the spring out and sometimes they are worn out

Oil pump on 020 stihl

Remove the side casing, then remove the spark plug and use a piston block to stop the piston rising while you remobe the clutch, once the clutch is off, the drum, bearing and oil work should be removable, along with the 2 plastic crank coveres. Once all this has been taken off you will have access to the oil pump.
